  1. I can send it through a courier of course. Do you want to arrange your own and/or shall I weigh it and work out the size with cardboard etc?
  2. I knew I’d got one somewhere. Good quality Fender soft case included.
  3. Early model. Sounds great, if not meatier than my Precision. If I wasn’t a snob I’d sell my Fender instead. I think the factory fitted pickup is a Dimarzio which obviously creates that big warm sound. All notes balanced in volume. Knobs not original. You can see from the headstock the body was black but somewhere along the line someone did a pro job and stripped it. I was thinking of buying a vinyl skin laminate for the front of the body but I can’t be bothered now. I’m losing heart a bit, even though I’ve just bought another MB head so I’m not going to give in/up. It will all kick off again hopefully around Autumn. Geoff Coseley West Midlands
  4. I know you’d rather sell than read nice messages, BUT, I must say a great year 3-4 years either side. I too have a similar Precision. I replaced the push button with a standard 250k pot, whipped out the original pickup and replaced with a DiMarzio DP122 and it plays over the moon. Unfortunately like everybody else, my last gig was in March.
  5. Output power 500W RMS @ 4ohms / 300W RMS @ 8 ohms. Excellent working order and nice condition. Having stood by Trace Elliot for many years I finally bit the bullet and went lightweight. I always thought a nice weighty amp with a nice meaty transformer was the dogs. After testing out many class d heads, Gallien, Genz, going back to TH500 three times, even Boogie 800, I wasn’t convinced...until I tried an Italian made Markbass head. I had used a Markbass combo years ago but was put off with the overall sound from the speakers. After reading so much positivity about Markbass amps, I went and bought a head to try with my Vans. I was so impressed with the amp/combination I went out and bought another two MB heads. Having you read my trumpet, I can assure you these heads are fantastic (just lay off the VLE and VLF) No gigs for a while yet, like thousands. I’m basically selling this for something to do and not too bothered if it doesn’t sell. But it’s a good price. Includes protective brief case. Welcome to try/test here observing Covid.....if you can walk it for exercise. Can obviously post at buyers expense with an agreed rate. Cheers Geoff. http://www.markbass.it/product-detail/little-mark-iii/
  6. Jazz now withdrawn. I advertised this for a friend but as soon as you state that, folk get suspicious, including me. Anyway, it played great and he took it away and I think p/x’d for a Ricki. Thanks for your interests. Geoff
  7. Ash body with bound maple neck and black- marked fingerboard. The neck and body have both been refinished (but nicely done) with clear gloss. The gloss is also above the worn area. Neck pocket shows no sign of paint so I assume it’s always been natural. Neck butt has no visible stamp date but apparently is not unusual. Pots are ser.No. 304-7218 dating 72. The pickups are 802 & 8302 which I think refers to 1972 also. Pickup covers are quite thick so I’m assuming original. Its a heavy bass above 11lbs but is compensated with great playability, rock solid, tight low end and singing tone. Comes with original 70’s case in nice condition although the silver Fender logo is missing. Any further pics on request. Welcome here to trial first/whatever. Covid rules observed. Cheers Geoff 07757296948
  8. I’ve also gone back to the 400. God knows when it’ll get action again.
  9. What can I do with three?!
  10. 2008 USA model just after the S-1 switch had been discontinued from the Precisions.
  11. Fantastic value. Is the price just for the pictures!? You must be as daft as me. E/V speakers?! Thump and clarity. GLWT Giveaway.
  12. Listen to this bloke, wrong style but he’ll tell you where it’s made
  13. Hello again Tom, Indonesia. The made in Germany anything around £2k. China, don’t know.
  14. Price now £395 but I’m beginning to love it
  15. Bumpy. The picture above is the Made in Germany one. This is the Designed in Germany model but still superior to the Epi Viola etc.
  16. It sure is. These Jap series Mustangs are a bit like the JV bass range, where it took some time for bassists to realise how good they were/are.
  17. Covid bump (negative here)
  18. Yes, I can ship as it’s got a hard case of which I’d add a bit of bubble wrap inside and protect the case with heavy duty cardboard.
  19. Hope you can feel the difference 😅
  20. Well Ez, I’ve got a 2008 Precision with 40mm nut width for sale if that helps
