  1. Congratulations. Will be interesting how they will put it to use. Any clues on the new build?
  2. I can go for the shortest. A squire strat from next door neighbour. It took all of 20 seconds
  3. Definitely peaked my interest in graphite necks @Wolverinebass @three @itu I came on here regarding pickups and now onto necks, you guys are gonna cost me a lot of money 😂 really appreciate the info. Cheers
  4. I have messaged Mike from Weldang and he seems like a top guy. Gave a very honest and helpful explanation of his pickups, knows his stuff. I don’t think they are what I’m looking for for this build, but I would defo look at them for a future build. Plus very reasonable pricing.
  5. Thanks for the info on the graphite neck guys. @Wolverinebass nice bass like the tone, you happy with the Herricks?
  6. Totally agree especially as there is a limited choice. Never played a bass with graphite neck, how do they play?
  7. Probably will look at the lusithand as that seems to get good reviews
  8. Thanks I will try TalkBass. On the site he is alluding to similarities with Wals. Just keen to know if anyone had used them cheers
  9. Hi all I have been researching online for multi coils and alongside turners, herricks etc I came across this brand. They are based in the US. I cannot find much online about reviews and wondered if any of you have any experience with them? https://weldangpickups.com/pages/weldang-pickups I am interested in the codebreaker model for a future Wal alike build.
  10. The ebony was certainly worth the effort as it looks amazing! How long did it take you to complete from start to finish?
  11. Firstly thank you for sharing what was obviously a labour of love ❤️ such skill and talent! Secondly it’s a Wal but you have made it your own with the ebony facings. The headstock facing especially with your initials (did you use maple for the inlay?)
