1. Just a family photo to begin with, more photos will come if interest rises. From left to right: "Fender" fretless jazz, ESP/LTD c-304, Fender Mexican Standard Jazz, Swift Acoustic bass (defretted.) "Fender" Fretless Jazz Bass: It says Fender on the headstock but none of it is genuine. The neck has been defretted and stained and currently has some scuffs and scratches on, nothing some stain and laquer can't fix. It has a WD Music bridge and is strung with a set of Fender tapewound strings. The action and intonation are perfect and there are no dead spots. Acceptable condition. THERE ARE NO PICKUPS OR CONTROL PLATE IN THIS BASS. £100 obo. ESP/LTD C-304: Very bright and zingy, very modern. Not to my tastes at all but still a flawless bass. Two passive EMG-HZ pickups (with exposed pole pieces) and an active preamp (vol/pan/bass/mid/treb.) 35" scale and 24 frets, grrrrrrrrrrrreat for slap. Neckthrough construction, gold hardware, v.low action at the moment. Good condition. £200 obo. (Postage to be paid on top but I will sort out the packaging and courier.) Swift Acoustic Bass (defretted). Ripped the frets out (haven't filed the gaps yet) and pretended it was a double bass. Surprisingly good condition. £20, collection only. Selling these beauties BECAUSE I AM AN IDIOT WHO SPENDS TOO MUCH MONEY. GOD DAMN IT. No trades.
2. Are these the quick connect type and do they come with the battery clip? Ta, Jon
3. Sorry, long gone. Says so in the title and the comments.
4. Updated, now considering any offers.
5. Fair condition, comes with psu and box. Posted for an extra fiver. Simple as that. No trades, thanks. Price dropped to £50!
6. Now for sale. £175 plus postage.
7. I WILL ACCEPT £150 CASH IF COLLECTED FROM WEST LONDON. I really need to sell this and that is a bloody fantastic deal. (Its not cursed, I just skint.) Specs: 35" scale. 24 frets. String through. Maple body with quilted maple top. EMG-HZ (open pole) soapbar humbuckers. Master volume, pickup pan, active bass/mid/treble. High mass bridge. Gold hardware. Some bumps, scrapes and scratches on the back but nothing similar. Great overall condition. Lovely bass, some what like an Ibanez SR. Very modern sounding, solid construction and a dream to play. The EMG-HZ pickups are not to be feared, I found them to be brighter and more tonefull than usual HZ crap and the active EQ compliments them nicely. Why am I selling? Only got this a while ago but jazz basses are my forte, I had to sell my MIA Jazz to cover expenditures, so I want a Jazz bass! Any more questions, just ask. Jon
8.
Had one of these for a month or so now, I love it!!
You better. I wish I had the money to buy it back. Great bass, great price. Somebody buy this.
9. Sound: Very nice clean tone, nicer than my old Les Paul custom. Haven't had a chance to run it through any distortion but I'll assume that's just as good. Vol/tone, neck/neck+middle/middle/middle+bridge/bridge selector switch. Nice and bright neck pickup, tonally even in the middle, very hot at the bridge. Condition: Dents here, scratches there, nothing serious. Electronics are perfect, tuners are very solid (stays in tune for weeks), good tremolo. Cleaning the fingerboard wouldn't go amiss, though all I have is lemon oil. £70 or trade for a cheapy bass. Prefer collection from Morecambe but I don't mind posting at buyer's expense. Jon
10. I'm disappointed in all of you! You should be complaining about the lack of pictures instead.
11. The body shape is very slightly different to a standard jazz, the neck pocket and bell plate fit all the usual but the pickguard won't fit any other bass.
12. Good communication, paid and collected in person. Wouldn't hesitate to deal with again. Jon
13. Yep, £50 plus postage. There's a bits post in the other stuff forum.
14. That'll be dropbox acting up, just refresh until they work. Also bump.
15. I'll get pics up soon, the back of the headstock is blank and a previous owner has engraved their name on one of them. £50 is the price of the neck, the tuners are free with it as I have no use for them. You just missed the stacked pots, they went right away.
16. I know you want it, I won't tell anyone.
17. Stacked plate is now gone, replaced by a black one that I had hanging around.
18. Couple of people interested, just a bump to see if there are any other offers out there.
19. Fretless Jazz bass project. Haven't the foggiest where any of the parts were made but there's no junk here. A Sunburst body, routed for a soapbar at the neck if you like (an EMG 40 would fit snugly.) £50 A defretted/stained neck with aged tuners and a Fender decal (some scratching on the neck, I would highly recommend coating it with epoxy if you prefer rounds.) £50 I'd rather sell this all as one, buy it all together and postage is free! Ta Jon

One of those projects that I was never going to get around to. : £120 please, good sirs; cash, cash deposit or bank transfer preferred!
