1. On closer inspection (taking it apart) I think the Jazz pup was defo an addition . . BUT . . The wiring harness, pickups are all matched & original looking + it doesn't look like the Jazz pup space was cut at a different time (change of finish etc). I am leaning towards thinking Ibanez took a stock Blazer in the factory and made the addition. Again I could be wrong!! LoL I giged it last night and enjoyed it, but I think it could possible be getting moved on in the classifieds shortly. I am not 100% sold on the headstock shape.
 2. Latest gumtree buy, at a time I am cutting down instruments in favour of the new mortgage deposit!! April 1982 Ibanez Blazer . . But in P/J configuration? I thought the P/J configuration was only found on the Roadster & Roadater II . . Wee bit of research online brings up a few folk saying they also have a pre Roadster P/J Blazer bass. Finish has been stripped, other than that everything looks original . . The Jazz bridge pup is ok, does the Jazz burp when solo'd, but the Precision pup is amazing!! Fat punchy 70's sounding goodness. Any thoughts guys? Possibly a bitsa Roadater with Blazer neck? I can't see it myself everything is original and sits well. Beats the Fender Jaco Custom I owned. Cheers, Chris
 16. Just got this a couple of weeks back & it's on the move already! I have the chance of getting a custom UBass I am going to go for. Amazing little bass, I doubt the custom u basses will sound better than this. The low B sounds fat, it still amazes me how low this wee bass can go and sound fantastic! Only played it twice since getting it, so it's near mint. Comes with Kala gigbag & original black strings. Cost me over £400 by the time I payed the import duty + new thundergut strings! £330 posted in the UK! Cheers, C. 18. Bought this from Beedster on the forum not to long ago, but I have acquired something else equality as lovely & fretless so this one is leaving! Visually stunning, great playing, and great sounding late 80's/early 90's Tokai Jazzsound fretless Jazz! (Edit - it's a 1984 model). Upgraded with Fender USA pickups + a new custom wired harness (CTS premium full fat pots, switchcraft Jack & .047 poly drop cap) from the amazing hand of KiOgon. Defret job years ago, couple of messy fret lines. Neck feels and plays amazing! Amazing bass! One for the Jaco nuts! £350 including UK shipping! No trades please cash is king! 19.
Hmmm, could I please have dimensions and weight, please Chris? This actually may be a pretty good opportunity as I'm not entirely convinced by my TKS cabs...
I will get the measurements for you today mate, I is the smallest 2x15 I have ever came across . . Only slightly bigger than the BF compact. It does however weigh a good wee bit, still one hand manageable though.
