Another great music shop in Newcastle was McKay's on Westgate Road. Tiny shop but full of second hand bargains. I bought my first practice amp from there, a Wem.

J G Windows in the central arcade, Newcastle. Brilliant shop, popped in every Saturday. Bought my first Fender Precision there in 1978, lovely colour Antigua. Unfortunately it was stolen from our van in the mid 80's along with all the other bands gear!

Apologies, I started a new feedback thread for Martin without checking if there was already a thread for him: Bought a 5 string Fender Jazz Pro ii from Martin. The bass was in lovely condition as described by him in his advert. Martin was a pleasure to deal with, great comms making it a smooth transaction with no problems at all. Just bought a Fender Precision Pro ii and a Musicman Stingray from Nick. The basses are exactly as described and exactly what I wanted so I'm delighted with them. They were exceptionally well packaged so there was no chance they could have been damaged in transit. The transaction was really easy with great comms and the basses were with me within 2 days. Nick was a gentleman to deal with and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Top class seller, thanks again Nick. Cheers Stew
