1. Gator Pro tote powered pedal board. Big pedal board in excellent condition with fitted Gator g-bus 8 power brick (8 9VDC and 3 18VDC, with connectors). Bit too heavy to post. Pick up Edinburgh. £70 collected. Would swap for smaller board PT2 or mini etc.

I dont have a photo but it's like this one. It's in excellent condition.

  2. Tonight's a sentimental night. Exactly 28 years ago tonight i saw Simple Minds play the Edinburgh Playhouse. This is how I remember it (although this is from a different tour) with the siennaburst precision with covers doing it's thing!!

All hail the great and mighty Derek Forbes!

Of course, the Minds are back, touring, now with Ged Grimes (Danny Wilson) replaying their superb tracks from 1979-84. All credit to Ged but he aint no Derek.

You need to understand the functions of the device, how they interelate, and have a rough idea of what you want to do and how to go about it. Kind of like driving a car.

    You dont need a degree.

    [. . .]

That should be enough to get you going...
there speaks the voice of a real expert.

wow, indeed. what's he doing at the end there in terms of generating notes? He puts down the eBow and starts using FX?

  5. dont worry didn't think you were being sarcy!! I am loving this second period of creativity in my musical life. After 10-15 musical wilderness years (3 beautiful kids to show for it), I am back, not this time with the basic no effects rock set up that defined those early days but now all kinds of sh*t including envelope filters, hothands, fuzzes, loopers, laptops, MIDI, synths. It's great!!!

wooooomph!!!! That must be something special when cranked.

  8. i have the old Analogman with deep switch. Nice! the new daddy is the Analogman mini with permanent deep and blend. I was also very excited by the Tech21 bass boost chorus. THese are £120+ pedals though.

Wow, this looks super interesting! A friend of mine built couple 1176 and it rocks! He uses it for vocals, but it was great with bass, along with the LA2A probably one of my favorite compressors.
If the pedal is loyal to the circuitry and components of the 1176, then, in my opinion, the price is not bad at all. The circuit is quite large and not at all cheap to build.
that's great to hear one pedal master compliment another builder. There's always space for high end stuff.
