  1. So I’m thinking of having a go at build from scratch (something I’ve always wanted to try) anyhow, when measuring bridge placement on standard 34” scale do you take measurement from infront of the nut or behind or even centre point of nut? Thanks
  2. JV pickups sold other standard set and control plate still available
  3. Set of standard EMG jazz bass pickups, good condition, solderless connectors but been cut so will need soldering to pots! Can include loaded control plate for extra £20, but pickups alone £50 posted (uk)
  4. Set of EMG JV jazz bass 4 string pickups. Excellent condition, solderless but been cut so need to be soldered to pots! Can include a loaded control plate for £20 extra if required!? But pickups alone £50 posted (uk)
  5. I’ve a MIM ‘70’s neck with a snapped truss nut! Is it possible to remove truss rod via the removal of skunk stripe and replace with a new truss rod? If possible has anyone done this?
  6. Bit of a long shot but…. Anyone know the truss rod thread size on a MIM fender 70’s jazz? I’ve acquired a neck but has split the fretboard at first fret so suspect maxed rod? Anyhow as an amateur luthier I’m going to investigate with possible new truss nut and also spacers, but would like to know thread size so I can buy correct truss nut! Cheers

  18. I’d take £100 without the control plate (it’s a kiogon one and I can use it on another project!) just to clarify, I can leave the control plate on and just take out the electrics for myself to keep
