  6. thinking of getting one of these pedals for D.I. work. What's the best way to connect it seeing as it has no xlr out.... into a decent D.I. box to the p.a. or a bloody long lead with xlr on the end...?

  9. It's here!!!!! First impressions WOW!!!! sounds superb!!!! Not had a chance to really put it through it's paces but i'm really pleased with it. It's very comfy to play Great bass for the money. I'll post some pics ASAP
  10. My guitarist wants to get a multi effects unit ..... The budget is £150 is there anything out there that would tick the following boxes?? Expressiion pedal (mainly for wah) Amp sims as he's thinking about gigs that would be easier going in light. decent effects. so far we've found the Vox st which looks and sound the dogs dangles. is there anything else you guys could recommend?

  19. whoooooops ... yeah that would help. Ok it's got a Rick bridge( after market) fitted to it a Rick pick up surround and vintage Rick pups so i'm led to believe.. I say this as they do look like the pups I had on the Hondo II??? The body was routed for the bridge pup . And finally it's been re wired to Rickenbacker spec with decent pots..... it sounds very growly and is really comfy to play. I'm kinda loathed to sell it, but the money would come in handy for my real Rick body project.....

  23. Cheers for the input fellas.... I like the Bassbone as it's got an effects loop and I can add some effects i.e. my valve sound, chorus and delay which are important to my set up....
