    On the Markbass Traveller 210, -on its own it just wont cut the mustard. I have a traveller 2x10 and a traveller 1x15. To be honest the 2x10 on its own just wont shift enough air to give you the earth-shattering bass a good 4x10 can give. -I used to own an Ampeg 4x10 and the 210 is just not comparible -even though the ampeg was 500W and the Markbass is supposed to be 400W. Its good enough on its own in the house or a SMALL gig (talking about 20 people) lol. IMHO the 1x15 will hold its own better than two tens will.... I got the traveller 115 2nd hand for £350 -so a reasonable price too.

    For the cash, the squires are decent basses. But I still wouldn't be seen with Squier on the headstock at a decent gig! Fender all the way for me! -The build quality, even on the MEX fenders is still lacking somewhat IMHO. I have a MEX P, that Ive spent quite a lot of cash fitting with Bartolini PUPS, a Badass bridge, tusq nut -and it still sounds pap in compasasin to the US versions. .... You get what you pay for really!

    Try Interparcel.co.uk for postage quote... They quoted me £40 for an Ampeg 4x10. Much heavier than the ashdown combo + larger!!

    For Sale is an Ampeg SVT 410HE (4x10). 500W, 1Kw Peak. 8Ohm, Will take speakon jack or 1/4" in series or parallel. This is a serious piece of kit and is in decent nick! -Just scrapes on the corner protectors (shown in pics). It has 4x castor wheels which just click into place -these cost me an additional £30! :-0 I have owned it from new and even still have the original receipt from Soundslive in Newcastle. I'm looking for £325 collected from Newcastle. -Am happy to meet half way (for cost of petrol if buyer requires). I have just replaced this with a MarkBass 102P. I am looking to get a Markbass Traveller 151P (8Ohm) to match the 102 with the proceeds of this sale. -So will swap if you have one!
