If you have owned one and it neck dived... it was either a new one (which I profess I can't comment on) or you forgot to fasten the strap to the top button.
I owned a new one and it NEVER suffered from neck dive!
 2. Bolt On neck produce more pronounced mid tone whilst thru neck have better lows and highs along with greater sustain. Just thought you'd like to know that.
 3. I bought a mint Alembic Series I that had been hanging on the wall of a millionaires house since new - never played, still had original strings on it that had plenty of life in 'em. I won't tell you how much I paid for it but believe me, I could make £3k profit on it and my hand would be snapped off! A good deal.......but not as good as this....... 4.
If you don't like Precision sounds and PUP positions, don't buy one, even a Deluxe. It's still a Precision. Given that there are a thoudand or more models of basses out there to choose from, it seems foolish to consider a slightly different version of a bass you know that you don't like. Start with a model you DO like and get the Deluxe version of that. Chris PS I had a USA Precision Deluxe for about a week and hated it. Small body, dodgy pre-amp and poor natural tone. I might simply have had a bad-un, but either way it wasn't a patch on any of my non-deluxe Precisions
Point taken. I just get excited with US prices and a need to fritter away the kids inheritance!!!!
 5.
.........but not half as much as how hard up the owner is!
6. I had a 2005 NT and it was great. Don't know about the early models with 'thinner necks'? This one was pretty thin and I'm used to 16.5mm string spacing!!! Bought in mint condition, unmarked for £750, sold for a year later £1000! I'd have one again but not just yet.
 7. What do you guys think to these basses? I don't have a frame of reference with Presisions at all but they always put me off with the pickup sounds and positions. At least with the Deluxes they have a bridge pickup. Used to Jazz Deluxes see.

 10. Rocco Prestia http://www.roccoprestia.com/ I like the text on his home page: Notice to fans - if you have a photo of Rocco Prestia that you feel is pretty cool please send it to Air Tight Management.
 11. Seems that Kubicki owners seem to rave about these basses but I've never had the chance to get close to one. Has anyone owned/owns one and can give me the gen?
 12. Might be one of the Highway 1's. Not as expensive as the standard US teles
 13. It reminds me of the time when Homer Simpsons new found brother let's him design the next car out of his car plant!
 14.
I got it on-line from Cash Converters, so I can send it back. This Bass is passive so would it have an EQ thingy?
If it was from Cash Converters then the hole would have been used by the previous owner to hide his smack!
 15.
20 - 24" (that's 600mm to you youngsters) concrete paving slabs. Collection only, free to a loving home.
I'll take 'em..... Send me a message with the details ([email protected])
 16.
Believe it or not a local school were paying for a skip to take all of the old, solid wood desks away. They even had to pay the caretaker overtime to smash them all up with a hammer!
Can you send me a photo? [email protected] If you don't have a problem with a courier collection then I think I'll have it.
