2. I'm thinking of letting my Kingbass Artist go to someone who's gonna get some playing out of it. Specs are: MINT Kingbass Artist, 4 string, through neck, rosewood, 32" with bendwell, 16.5mm string spacing, blue front and side LEDS, case pretty much top specced machine! Retail on one of these bad boys is £2800. PM me a serious offer. I'm not gonna reply to stupid offers, you know what it's worth for one of these pretty hard to come by basses.

 4.
Is this some kind of joke? If so can someone delete this - it's just f**ked up my computer and got all the IT geeks excited.
No joke.......a copy and paste from ebay!

 6.
I'm not trying to rip anyone off here, and my price is £110 or near offer, including postage. It really pisses me off when people post comments like yours on other people's for sale ads, especially when it's not like I'm trying to rip anyone off here, what did you gain from making that post that couldn't have been achieved by sending me a personal message? I've sold and bought ton of things on here and I've never conciously overpriced anything and where I've felt an item is overpriced I either steer clear or if I'm actually interested in buying I'll get in touch with the seller.
Do you know, I've contacted people before via PM who are selling items that can be sourced elsewhere for similar prices in an effort that these guys are honest enough to go back and change the listing and do you know what I've got in reply? 'f*** off, it's nowt to do with you' so this time I make an effort to inform people that something that be sourced elsewhere to give them the power to make a choice and now I'm getting sh*t from it again. No wonder society is turning into 'couldn't care less' about my neighbor attitude when all you get is grief from one side or another. I'll take care of myself in future and everyone else can get f***ed!
 7. You can buy 'em brand new from Thomanns for that price with a 30 day money back guarantee and no risk of getting an ear infection!!! Just found one even better - direct from the States, free shipping $180 - £87!!!
 8. Whats the dollar and UK price for these basses?
 9.
Bottom line? you can put together a better bass than fender etc east very easily but if you aint got the logo on the headstock you might have to take a loss on the resale.
Y'know, that's the problem I have with the idea. I think I'd be better buying a US Jazz and upgrading a few bits. That way I can always sell it on when I need to.
 10.
MB1. Yeah......STATUS!
+1 Graphite necks are the easiest to get your slap on!
 11.
SOLD
I bet whoevers bought them is pissed off..........the show has been cancelled!
 12.
Mark Kings Status Kingbass has a 16.5mm string spacing, it's the same as his Alembics were, he felt comfortable with it, and so carried it over on to his Status. My Modulus Q6 has a 17mm spacing, and I find it very comfortable to play, but I don't slap.
I have 3 basses with 16.5mm string spacing and have no problems slapping.
 13.
Pianos and harps have longer bass strings and shorter treble strings in order to improve the tone of the note and the tuning of the instrument. That's not a gimmick.
Makes sense when you explain it like that!
 14. Is it purely aesthetics or is there a benefit to the fanning? Is it just a bit of a gimmick?
 15. Has anyone had their hands on one yet? Wondered what the fanned fretts are like.
 16.
OK, let me know T
He's not come back to me so if someone else is asking for them then let them go
 17.
Block 213, row R, I've got seats 13 and 14, so they will be either side of them, the tickets aren't in front of me to see exact seats! They are £72.75 each Tony
I've already got 4 tickets in block D but I'm waiting for a mate to get back to me about yours.
 18. I'd been watching that from £175............what a stoopid price! I think it was about £230-ish from Allparts UK plus the extra still makes it lower than the ebay price.
 19.
I got 2 seated tickets, face value, monday night at the MEN Tony
What's face value? What seats? might be intrested!
 20. Thanks for the advice. I am sort of thinking a little too grand now and I think I might be edging into the territory of a custom bass. Hmmmmmmm.................
 21. I've been looking for a US Jazz for a while and I'm coming to the conclusion that maybe I just want to make one up my self. I could buy original Fender parts or made under licence parts or I could just go to one of the body and neck makers (Allparts, Mighty Mite or our very own Simms) and get something. I have to admit, this is not the cheapest way to get a bass and I'm pretty sure that it'd have to be a keeper as getting a good re-sale value would be out of the window. I am planning on upping the spec to Alembic PUPS and a J-Retro Preamp. What's your thoughts on this?
