Well it's the thought that counts Al, and that's a lovely one. I'd have been proud to have played it.
God the playing in that video is abysmal - reminds me of me aged 17....
Yes, that is rude. Keep such comments to yourself. eh? -
I've thought that actually!
Now with locks 'n blocks
Blocks?? How?
Oh god. A white one just became even harder to resist. -
I would endorse Jon Shuker's basses and Genz-Benz amps in a heartbeat, and never use anything else ever again.
Generally, if I endorsed a product I would feel honour bound to use it exclusively. -
I for one could`nt give a toss if he is fasionabubble or not i think he is great bass player and done some great stuff over the years.
+1. I don't care how naff he's supposed to be, some of his albums are among my absolute favourites of all time. -
Oh yes, it's a belting bass part. Love it. I hope you've got a good vocalist
Ill make sure plenty of pics get taken for you Rich, I was gonna ask you which Charity Si would have donated the profit to
Thanks matey
Charity-wise, the Samaritans are a safe bet. -
Titebond should see you nicely. Just remember to clamp it up firmly.
Agreed. I used Titebond 3 to mend some garden furniture last year. It is ridiculously powerful stuff. Sets harder than Araldite. -
Anyone know how to get the Maple FB option??
If you find out how, please let me know. At that point, it will become completely irresistible. -
Oh hells bells... a 5-string PJ like that one, in the same candyapple red, would be enough to see my Status up for sale...
Won't you get a better sound out of the kettle by using a good instrument cable?
If you use one of those audiophile £2000 mains leads, it even makes your tea taste better. -
God, what a tough choice. Red, white, dark- or light-blue..? I quite fancy white.

What on earth is going on with the ramp and the bridge p/u..?
I've seen the guitars, don't bother
Why's that? apart from them being guitars, of course. -
Wonder what the Les paul is like?
Mate of mine is sorely tempted by the gold-top. If he gets it, I'll let you know. -
I've modified the title to try to get round the autocapitalisatory thingy.
What a cracking bass. Welcome to the Shuklub -
Good god.
Just been looking at the shop, the spec says "Fingerboard: polished rosewood or maple with dot markers" but there doesn't seem to be any way of choosing. If you could definitely get a maple board, I reckon I'd have one in a shot. -
cant believe this hasnt gone.. ive got one on loan and its awsome... i did a review of it last week..
And here it is.
Oh, this thing is a real looker. If it was a 5, I'd bite your arm off.
Somebody buy it quick, before I do something rash. -
I work full time as a sound engineer too and this is spot on.
Joe, the FOH sound you gave us at the Fiddlers is still the best we've ever had there. -

Don't blame me if you end up ordering a Spitfire or Rumour though. -
I've never got on with Ricky basses. So no matter how good the black/white one might look, I don't want one. I don't. I really don't. I don't.
arrghhh, yes i do -
3)All i want, is for me not to sound like an awful Mark King Tribute player full of pop and twang, i dont want any of that sound (thats not the sound coming from my amp and id like it to go somewhere near to resemble that sound to the crowd). il just have to be double extreme with my bass, onboard preamp.
If you don't want a trebly sound, why not just roll off the top end on your bass rather than doing all the eq work on your amp? Would it not make sense to get your sound as close as possible to how you want it before it reaches your amp, and just use the rig to do the final tweaking and add the growly stuff? -
Around the time the ME50B was first introduced, I too owned an ME6B but thought I'd try the new boy & see what it was like in comparison. I thought it was rubbish. Very noticeable gaps when changing patches. Crap synths, but about 500 different types of overdrive/distortion.
I stuck with my 6B. Sold it a couple of years later, wish I hadn't.

Depends if you're one who enjoys, or sees the value in, bass clinics.
