Just dropped my Wal off with Paul at Electric Wood. Had a lovely chat with him. There are some lovely necks and bodies hanging up in his shop, ready to be bolted together. My favourite was what looked like a Mk2 5-string body, with bird's-eye maple top, in a translucent red lacquer. Oh my god.
I've been down there a few times over the years, and Paul and his team make beautiful instruments. Everything there just oozes quality. Makes me want to get another Wal!
