3.
What kind of difference did the electronics mods make?
hmmm lets say, the 2 original pickups were very very thin sounding, having owned 5 or 6 real original USA Fender Jazz Basses in the last 20 years I have some idea as to how the real thing should sound and , fitting the 2 Seymour Duncans pickups plus the period correct wiriing kit and pots has given the bass an impressive sound spectrum, that has had both me and a few friends startled at how good the result was.

 15. The truth? Well check this out. Up to a month ago I had up to 10-11 basses. I stumbled upon a 5 strings Dingwall ABZ and suddenly everything else I owned has lost my interest, so much so that I am selling most of the others just keeping those which I know I will need at some stage. I have also ordered a new Dingwall Super J 5 strings which is like a Jazz Bass on steroids with a J/P pickup combo, due to arrive Feb / Mar 2011

 18.
Just bought Fran's 51P reissue. Absolutely immaculate condition and he went to the trouble of setting up properly before he handed it over (as we swapped bridges). Recommended BC'er!
Wow, I've got my first feedback! It was a pleasure dealing with Clarky, so he deserves a ++ feedback also as a buyer.
