Here we have a Tanglewood acoustic bass - Piezo pickup with a nice fishman pre inc. chromatic tuner. Reasonably loud unplugged, being that it's quite a large body. Endpin mounted jack socket, and produces a very 'growly' tone once plugged in, very satisfying! Basic eq settings on the preamp - contour and phase switches gives you a few options. No second strap pin so has been used with 'shoelaces' on the strap round the headstock - will include said strap and a new padded gig bag in the sale. Also fairly new D'addario strings on there (fitted October, but not gigged). Drop me an email () for more pics if you want them. If you want to know anything else, ask away! Edit - this is now withdrawn from sale. I got it out to take some pics for a potential buyer, got playing and couldn't for the life of me remember why I wanted to sell it. Sorry!

Raising funds to pay for a new compact amp and a double bass, so unfortunately some things have got to be moved on! Here we have a Fanndec 6 String (It says 'custom shop' on the back of the headstock) - couple of ENORMOUS humbuckers 'coolsound' branded, 9V active preamp - volume, pan and 3 band EQ controls. Please note - the bass boost on this is ridiculously big. All three of the EQ controls are boost only, and I've never turned the bass boost above half way on the pot as the overall output seems to increase so much as you turn it up. It's heavy... but neck-through (5 piece), and it's all walnut/alder and sounds so good it never bothered me. Needs a strap even when sitting as the lower horn doesn't do a great job of stopping it falling sideways off your leg. I'd recommend you 'try before you buy' but if you're after a cheap, quality 6 string I'm confident you will buy after you try! Sorry about the picture - BC keeps rotating it after I upload it, annoyingly. Drop me an email () for more pics if you want them. If you want to know anything else, ask away! EDIT 5/1/13 New lower price - £300

Nice trailer! It's unfortunate that you're not playing anything in the 'bass covers' clip though...

Did anyone catch the 'play your bass in a weird place' competition over on BPU? This was my entry. Have a laugh on me.
