1. I traded basses with Pat and it was a really nice experience. Great communications, fantastic shipping (to Denmark, Europe) and outstanding packaging. I highly recommend dealing with Pat.
2. Here's a video with the bass in a rock setting. Yes..... the strings are really dead. Just the way I like them https://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=p3ZmnKetRao
3. Matthew bought my Frantabit pedal back in september. Great coms and fast transaction. Highly recommended
4. Up for grabs is my Squier JV Jazz Bass from 1983. One of the best jazz bass' I've ever had the pleasure of playing. The previous owner installed different pots from the original. The setup is Volume - Balance - Tone (dig the old radio knob on the volume pot). Balance and Tone knob is three-way switched. The old strap buttons have been replaced with black strap lock buttons. The instrument has a couple of dings. Especially a nasty one on the back but that's what you can expect for a 33 year old bass. Serial number: JV86511 A beat up flight case will accompany the bass. *edit* Open for trades in general. The bass is just sitting in its case. -Pete PRICE REDUCTION -> 800£
5. I couldn't have said it better myself and I couldn't agree more. Thanks for the comment andybassdoyle
6. Up for sale is my Iron Ether Frantabit. Very good condition with very little wear. Trade options: I can't think of anything that I need but ..... surprise me
7. I use a SolidGoldFX Stutterbox in my pedal chain. It has tap tempo and also expression pedal input, three different waveforms, eight different tremolo patterns and a bunch of other nice parameters. It's a bit pricey but I really recommend it.
8. I'm super happy with my Earthquaker Devices Dispatch Master. It's very simple to use and you get a delay as well.
9.
I loved my BigOne. It had me convinced I need a 15" to get those lows. I then bought my One10 and that theory went straight out of the window. Loving the One10 massively. It looks far better in my lounge at home too.
Although my Big Baby II gets hauled along to most gigs I will never part with my BigOne. Plus, when you combine them, you have a tower of doom
10.
Excellent, thanks for that. It actually has go me thinking about a slight variation using a fishing seat box trolley and pipe foam. Ho hum, thinks
You're welcome. That idea sounds interesting. Be sure to post pics
11.
Which amp stand do you use please?
I don't know which amp stand ghost_bass uses, but I'm currently using a K&M amp stand with my Big Baby II and TC RH450 on top. The stand can handle 35kg so it's no problem at all and I get the best sounding bass monitor on the planet, when I'm playing with a large PA.
12. I bought a clone from an american ebay seller. Sounds just like the real deal. Even with shipping and customs the price was still about half of what the original would have cost me. 13. I traded with Steve and it was a pleasure doing business with him. Fast communication and really fast shipping. Cheers Steve
14.
As a fellow Bongoer, what makes it a Limited Edition?
That would be the finish
15. What is the weight and balance of the bass? =)
