5. I just tried the White Sub the other day and it was rather disappointing in comparison with the Walnut version I tried before. Don't know why they sounded so different. The white one had less character, less Stingray tone. Hardly sounded like a Stingray. The Walnut nailed the Stringray tone for almost like 80%. I'm gonna try the Walnut version again some day.
6. Another vid I found on youtube. Sounds a bit better. Not as good as in store, but these Subs are awesome. http://youtube.com/watch?v=-v5wgeUTMX0
I bought the the ray34 ca in black a couple of days ago and it is just brilliant. I'm thinking of putting a review up.
That would be great
7. I'm not sure if it has the same circuit as the Singray 2EQ. The only thing i got to got from the Ernie Ball forums is;
the body woods and the level of hardware are where we saved. These will be made in the same factory, line as the SBMM premium line. We have a lot of experience "behind the scenes" and really have great relationships with the best parts makers and suppliers.
I found this video, but sounds quiet rubbish(probably due to the recording). When I tried it in the store it sounded awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3wqiv9QQ_M
8. I really loved the Sub Walnut I tried at the shop the other day. I've owned three real Stingrays and this one comes pretty close. Like 80% of the real sound. Good enough for me at this price level.
9. Hi there, I'm playing in two different bands. And I want to start using the same amp (Ampeg v4) for both bands. The only downside is that I have to move the Ampeg v4 twice a week by car to rehearsal. Will a Roqsolid cover be enough protective or should I get a hardshell case? I'm leaning towards the Roqsolid cover. Much more affordable and much less weight. What do you guys reckon?
10. We are Dutch, so I was wondering what British people think of our music. Is it any good? I recorded "Better for Us" with a Rickenbacker 4001 Chris Squire and "Little by Little" with a Geddy Lee Jazz bass. Be aware, it's not even close to prog rock. It's more like pop/rock. Feedback much appreciated. Cheers! 13. Very nice Synth pedal. It has been used, but functionally in excellent condition. From the Markbass website: The SUPER SYNTH turns your bass into a synthesizer—with seriously cool sounds and no tracking delay! It also doubles as a digital octaver, with both octave up and octave down layers. The parameters of the pedal’s presets can be modified using the Markbass Pedal Controller software. Simply install the software, connect the pedal to your computer using a USB cable, modify the presets as desired, and then load them back onto the pedal. Like all our pedals, this unit features true bypass. Download software from this page (see "DOWNLOADS" below) to customize the sounds on your pedal. The software is free and available for Mac and PC. 175gbp posted to your door. Pics to follow..
14. For sale this Bass to Midi converter. I haven't used it much. But it's fun to play with. I used it to trigger Virtual Instruments* on my Macbook. *Very nice warm and deep synths through some 15 inch bass cabs. Good times. 55gbp. Shipping without track and trace is 8gbp. Shipping including track and trace is 12gbp.
15. Bump with pictures. As you can see this Ric is looking good, but does have some scratches and 'dings'.
16. It's all original, apart for the bass tone knob and pick up cover.. I replaced it with a new Rickenbacker bass tone knob and pick up cover.. On the picture above you see the bass tone knob i replaced. (included in the hardshell case). The hardshell case isn't original i'm afraid. The damage are (little) scratches(dings and tears) on the finish. I will take some pictures tomorrow.
17. This Ric is over 30 years old. Plays and sounds beautifully with the classic Ric sound. Enough life left on the frets. It has some 'mojo' dings and dangs, see pictures, but overall in good condition considering it's an over 30 years old vintage piece. The Ric was manufactured in 1980. If you have any questions, please ask. I'll upload more pictures soon. I'd like £1375 for it. No trades please. I need the cash to pay my rent
