1. Always loved these since trying one back in the eighties - way out of my price range at the time, but what an amazing bass, and the condition of this is stunning for it's age. Lovely to see such a well looked after instrument GLWTS
2. Oh my goodness the figuring on that neck is awesome, and the body's not bad either
3. I could live with that and it's round the back
4.
Teesside, actually....
Thought you'd be along to correct that one!
5.
Health reasons.
Apologies sorry to hear that. GLWTS
6.
I've had a lot of PM's regarding posting, like I said though it's just not possible unfortunately. I would have sold it 3 times over if I could post, sorry that it has to be a local sale.
Why not? It's a very simple process with a tiny bit of effort on the sellers part with packaging. I've never got this when I've seen it from sellers like yourself, I even had an EUB delivered to my door with not a hitch...
Cheers Kev, As well as missing the tone I'm going to miss it hanging next to my P Bass, lovely contrast! I've always found Thumb's to be unique in every way, gutted the body is too small for me
The body is too small? I don't get that either?
7.
Nice clampage #porn

Nice clampage #porn
PMSL
8. Followed this thread in awe. One word. Gumph. Alright maybe more than one - utterly incredible what a skilled man can do with whatever is lying around, and it surely makes you think about the price some folks charge for a lump of wood with four strings hanging off it........ Jez you are one talented gadgy
9. 20'' x 14'' That'll be a small amp flight case then? Looks great, as does the Wal
10. Really impressive job! Massive improvement and superbly executed, what a unique bass!
11.
With a Warwick you can go to their website and enter the serial number and get the full specification.
.....only from year 2000 onwards
12. Nice looking bass, one I've never heard of let alone seen I checked the website and the translation into English makes hilarious reading... http://www.deviser-str.com/about-1/ GLWTS
13.
The most 'successful' (I don't mean commercially) bands I'm in have a dictator who is aware of their strengths and limitations. His or her judgement is trusted and respected on the stuff they really know about, and the rest of the responsibility is shared.
This. Is bang on. Saved me writing the same thing WOT
14. Bought Phil's Fishman Pro and deal was done and delivered within three days well packaged and great condition, deal with Phil in confidence, top bloke
15. Ultimate Ears or Westone check out both companies websites for more details and specs. Both make in ear monitors with bass, mid and treble drivers. Incredible sound and with memory foam or custom made tips are ultra comfortable too
16. Bought a Jazz from fettsman, great comms and perfectly described bass. He travelled halfway up the country to his brothers and met me locally to seal the deal, excellent
17. Good advice thanks chaps!
18.
Good luck
Haha I'm gona need it!! What have I let myself in for?! I'm impressed with the bass for the money, and this one is in mint condition for a used model, but it's much more difficult than I ever imagined Right hand is not too bad as I have swotted up online for advice, but that neck depth and left hand finger spread required has totally surprised me - not quite 'just a big fretless' as a non bassplayer once described EUB! A lot of practise coming up
19. Recently bought an EUB from David. Excellent transaction, bass was in my house in three days at my request. Packaging was absolutely spot on and bass exactly as described. Great guy to deal with, excellent comms.Highly recommended! Johna
20. I've taken the plunge and finally bought one to mess around with at home - arriving this week and from this very forum. Its black with four strings, and as that's about all I know about EUB's I anticipate the next few weeks and months are going to be interesting as well as challenging I'm hoping this forum and YouTube will be a big help, wish me luck
