1. This is exactly what I'm looking for atm, but i'd love to try it out first. Am based in Hertfordshire.
 2. Trace will take it apart and check it all over, so if it was something like the above two mentioned I should think they'll find it
 3.
and I'm including a set of Trace Elliot Roundwound 40-100.
I never knew Trace made strings? :O
how has this not sold?
+1!! Have you advertised it on the Warwick forum? Might be a good way to find someone interested.
 4. Trace are very good with servicing and support, just get in touch with them.
 5. Luthman Mystic Roots R-Evolution and from the back
 6. Fair enough. I don't mind a bit of wear and tear, give character. These scratches just annoy me a bit cos....after the first scratch I'd sure as hell stop wearing belts with it. But you're right it's still a pretty nice bass. I'm negotiating with a couple other sellers atm, but I'll be in touch jj1234 if they don't go anywhere.
 7. Apologies mate, it's gone. All the best selling this flamed beauty.
 8. I'm in the process of trying to buy a second hand Warwick, but that scratching on the back just puts me right off. For shame sir :/
 9.
and i know its not gear, but jaco pastorius.
Can't not agree. Don't see what the fuss is about with him, bores me to death.
And boiling strings does next to bugger all IMO.
I always get another 2 or 3 weeks out of strings by boiling them in water with a little bit of white vinegar. Oh yeah have to agree on Ibanez too, other than the vintage stuff which I haven't tried. Thin uncomfortable bodies that feel like they're made of plastic, horrid laminated floor style necks and sh*tty korean bart pups. Why anyone wants to play that I don't know.
 10.
I wanted Fieldy's tone so I bought a dustbin and a stick.
Ahahahahaha. I love a good crack at Fieldy. Let's all go slap the A tuned B string and boost the mids so it sounds like a pig being beaten. As much as I hate it, it actually sounds really good as part of Korn's music.
 11.
Im pretty sure my SMX400 had lots of steam left after 3-4 on the output volume control.
My early 80's TE AH250 head has an indicator for the clipping 'Increase gain - OK - Decrease gain'. with the gain at 5/10 it was just hitting OK. Below that it pretty much always says increase gain . I play that head with a early 80's TE 4x10" cab and it is punchy as anything (Even makes my rubbish EMG soapbars have some decent midrange) and certainly doesn't lack low end, if it did I'd add a 1x15/18" cab. It is heavy as F*CK though. Both the head and cab. Note: I say early 80's because I forget when it was originally bought, think it was '82 though.
 12. Looks really nice! Flamed maple is one of my favourite, attractive but in a wood grain way, not a quilted, sofa style way.
