2. Thank you! Got an official release coming up through Ample Play Records in a couple of months, I'll no doubt be spamming the hell out of it on here!
3. Thanks, it really is an awesome instrument. It can be heard in action on these recordings: http://thebluebottleveins.bandcamp.com/

5. A pedal I no longer use. Boss ODB, without box, minor scuffs and velcro applied. £40 posted.

7. Met with Tim to swap my TC Electronic rig for his GK rig. We live a fair distance apart so Tim kindly organised a meeting point somewhere in the middle. The gear was exactly as described and I'm more than happy with the swap! Was a pleasure to meet him and do business with him.
8. I'd certainly try one out. I'd love a trip to a Bass Direct, but it's quite a trek for me. Even if I venture to Liverpool or Manchester, the music shops are pretty poor. I live in deep, dark North Wales and I have no bottom-end to speak of. Woe is me.
9. Cheers for all the replies. From what's been said I'm assuming that Goliath II > Goliath III? I'm surprised at the comments about the Ampeg. On paper the SVT-410HLF looks great and has some fantastic looking specs, looks like the ultimate one cab solution. I've had Ashdown rigs, Laney rigs, TE rigs, GK rigs and most recently a TC Electronic rig. I always seem to have the same gripe. The mids and highs are well defined and sound fantastic (GK rig especially), but the lows are either non-present or so unruly and unfocused that I have to EQ them out. Always makes me a little bit sad . I am pondering over a nice Barefaced rig though. Compact and a Midget with a Genz Benz head. Hmmmmm...
10. Because of the limited number of music shops around here it's difficult to try out any cabs that aren't Laney or Ashdown. Would love to hear your opinions on the following cabs: Goliath III 4x10, Ampeg SVT410HLF and EBS Proline 4x10. I'm after a single 4ohm, 4x10 to run my GK head through (tempted to swap this for a Genz Benz). Size and weight aren't an issue, I'd just like to hear about their reliability, performance and suited music style. Thanks in advance!
11. Bought Sam's TCE rig from him. Top bloke to deal with. Quick replies to all my messages and a phone call to ensure the rig arrived safely. The whole process was painless and I highly recommend dealings with him! Steve
12. Bought a Sansamp DI from Bernmeister. Great chap to deal with! Paid and the pedal arrived the next day... what more can you ask for!?

14. So it's either three M5s, two M9s or one M13... I reckon the M9 will be dandy, I'm thinking it'll stop me from getting too carried away. One last question, how's everyone getting best results? Running it into the amp or through the FX loop?
15. I don't own the M9 yet but I'm off to buy one this weekend. Wondered whether it was worth picking up an LS-2 whilst I was there. I know this has probably been discussed on here before, but someone who's going to be using only a couple of FX at a time, it's best to get the M9 over the M13, right? If I were to run a comp and a dist would I only have one FX slot left?
16. How would you wire that up? I'd like it so one signal path is solely the wet out put of the Line 6, then at the press of the button you get the wet output + clean straight from the bass. I've been squiggling diagrams and I can't work it out!
17. I've heard that to get the best out of the dists/ODs, it's advisable to mix the processed signal with your clean tone to retain the bottom end. How exactly would you go about doing that?
