1. BUMP for price drop! Will take £35 posted...
2. Thanks for all the info guys, I think I'm gonna have a crack at building one (what I mean is - I'm going to force my mate to do it for me). I was wondering about the active/passive issue as my main bass of choice is active...
I never tried but a 50k-100k potentiometer in series with the input should help control the input inpedance. It might be worth trying.
...so if i build the pedal and it doesn't agree with my ATK300 I could this might be a possible fix? And I don't understand toasted's comment either. Something to do with the police, the fuzz.. I give up!
3. Can anyone point me in the direction of a fuzz pedal that'll give me the sound without the hefty price tag? Cheers!
4. Had this made for me by 'umph'. He did a great job, does everything you'd expect plus the enclosure is solid and smaller that a Boss pedal. I no longer need this, if I could afford to keep it I would. But I'm the position where I have to sell before I can buy. My loss your gain I guess. The case is bare metal, each loop has an on/off LED. There's an input, output, loop #1 in/out and loop #2 in/out. As you'd expect really. Only after [s]£50[/s] [s]£45[/s] £35 delivered. Can upload pictures if there's any interest. Cheers! Forget to say - runs on a standard Boss 9V adapter!

6. right, so i'm slowly assembling a board but i'm in a pickle over the various gain stages im after. i know what sounds im after, but i'm sure there must be a more elegant solution. i'll start by outlining the stages i'm after.. first there's my basic tone, bass > comp > amp.. easy-peasy, no worries there. then im after somthing to just thicken things up with out distorting, for big choruses for instance. next im after a light driven sound, mild cruch - but with the option to boost it a little for the meatier parts of the song (a little more drive/volume/bass) i'm also after a crazy, wild distortion (easy enough) and a fuzz (got that covered) so far i've set things up like this: bass > comp > dha vt1 bass std > double looper > (loop 1) odb-3 & dod eq > (loop 2) ehx bass muff at the moment im using the dha just as a boost, engage it to thicken up my clean signal for big choruses. im using the odb-3 and the dod eq for a light drive then engaging the DHA to lift it a little further for more agressive songs. im just wondering whether there's a more suitable set of pedals, or a single pedal solution (the sansamp pbddi maybe) that anyone could suggest. if i were to buy a sansamp pbddi then couldnt i just set my clean tone channel 1, light od channel 2, then aggressive od channel 3? i'm also thinking that there would be a bit more continuity to my tone across the 3 stages of gain if i used a single pedal. would appreciate any input, would also love to hear how people achieve their various gain stages... cheers!

8. I'm now awaiting delivery of a shiny new Diago power supply. Got the powerstation plus two daisy chains and a red adapter to change the polarity of the 2.1mm barrel for the DHA. Cheers for the input everyone!
9. Thanks for that, by lower output do you mean a quieter signal out?
10. So it seems the Diago power station is the answer. Two questions though, does anyone know what type of power connector the EHX Bass Big Muff uses? And also, I currently run my DHA with a 12V supply, the Diago runs at 9V. Now it says clearly in the pedal 9-12V, but will I encounter any problems running it lower? Cheers for the help!
11. I'm just goin o what the Aphex website says. If it is 9V DC then could I power all my 9V DC pedal via a couple of daisy-chains? Would the problem with the noisey EHX and Line 6 be solved by those gig-rig battery doo-dad? I've heard mention of them but I'm not entirely sure what they do! Cheers!
12. ok, so i'm putting together a board at the moment but i'm having trouble working out how to power the pedals. i bought a sound-lab power bank, which has six 9v outputs - but it was faulty so its goin back.. before i reorder another one i just wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions for powering my board.. pedals i have/will have are.. korg dt-10 tuner - 9V DC aphex punch factory - 9V AC dha vt1 standard - 12V DC (but i believe polarity is different on these pedals) true bypass looper - currently being built for me by umpf, im assuming itll be 9V DC boss odb-3 - 9V DC dod eq (modded) - 9V DC ehx bass big muff - 9V DC line 6 echo park - 9V DC i hope ive got that right! well, im resigned to the fact im gonna have to use a seperate adapter for the dha. so should i buy a replacement sound-lab power bank to cover the six pedals that require 9V DC, then buy a seperate power supply for the aphex punch factory, which would give me 3 adapters in total. or could i daisy-chain them? (i heard that some pedals make a lot of noise when you power them that way) also, i was told the line 6 HAD to be powered via an official line 6 adapter otherwise you gets a load of hum i may be missing somethin glaringly obvious, but ive only ever power things off batteries before now.. any help/advice/suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks
13.
Sound clips? Zach
I'll get some recorded tomorrow hopefully.. There are sound clips on the DHA website www.davehallamps.co.uk but not of that particular model Cheers, Steve
14. Bought this a matter of months ago, as great as it is - it's not what I was looking for. Glad I had an opportunity to try it out though. Here's the original 'for sale' post: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=59345&hl=dha I'll get some pictures up ASAP. It's in great condition and I'm only after what I paid for it - £60 posted Would consider trades/part ex for one of the following - Digitech BSW Aphex Punch Factory EHX Bass Big Muff Cheers, Steve
