  1. Available again. As mentioned above, insane bargain!
  2. Just sold a bass to Jimmy and it was a perfect transaction. Enjoy the bass mate 👍
  3. She comes in at 8.8lbs. I've got a dodgy shoulder and I've gigged this in a pro function band numerous times without any issues. As a side note, the current flats it wears will be removed before sale and a set of rounds will be refitted. The flats have some sentimental value to me. It sounds great with either!
  4. Now £295 Here we have one of the highly regarded Squier 40th anniversary gold edition jazz basses. This bass is the subject of multiple threads on here due it's general awesomeness! It feels like a premium instrument, looks fantastic and has a seriously punchy sound. It's a massive upgrade over the standard Squier line and offers amazing value for money. I didn't intend to sell this one but I currently have too many basses and needs must. You know how it is. Collection from Margate or I can box it up if postage is required. Note, I currently have a parchment pick guard on the bass but the original metal one (shown loosely fitted in the last pic) will be refitted prior to sale.
  5. Complete set of EMG JAX pickups with the EMG solderless loom in original packaging. These pickups sound great and are a fair bit warmer/more natural sounding than traditional EMG's. Only selling as I want an EMG PJX set! Manfacturers info: The JAX Set is based off EMG's original J, but uses Alnico V magnets instead of ceramic and our X Series preamp. This creates a tone that is warm and open for a more vintage sound with a broad frequency range and added dynamic response and feel. The JAX provides bass players with natural presence, powerful lows, and expansive midrange. With our X Series preamp on-board, this pickups set truly bridges the gap between passive and active tone - giving players the best of both worlds. Whether you play fretted or fretless you'll get an incredibly full sound with these bass pickups. The X series preamp gives the pickup a more dynamic range along with increased headroom while keeping the more traditional string-to-string balance. X series pickups also come with an Active Tone Control (VLPF) designed to roll-off (attenuate) high frequencies, similar to a typical passive tone control. The result is a noiseless single coil guitar pickup with a classic EMG sound that bridges the gap between active and passive. £100 collected from Margate or I can post via Special Delivery for £8.
  6. Thanks 👍 I've had an embarrassing amount of Jazz basses and I have to agree, this does it all and feels like a much higher end instrument than the price would suggest!
  7. This post cannot be displayed because it is in a forum which requires at least 1 post to view.
  8. I forgot to add the pic of the Bass Centre case candy. I'll take £475 for this if anyone fancies it? Amazing value for money!
  9. Hi, due to wondrous brexit, this is a UK only sale I'm afraid.
  10. I can include a nice Greco strap (for that full Japanese experience!) and an old gig bag with this if anyone fancies it?
  11. Now £450! Bass Centre Guy Pratt Betsy bass up for grabs. The bass is in excellent condition, comes with the original Bass Centre gig bag and has recently been setup with a new set of Jim Dunlop Nickels. Much has been said about these basses offering exceptional build quality and tones for a shockingly low price, and I can only agree. They really take some beating! This bass plays and sounds great well with a very low action if desired. Here's the link to the Bass Centre page for more info for the uninitiated https://www.basscentre.com/british-bass-masters/bbm-betsy.html Collection from Margate or I can box it up if a courier is required.
  12. Just two more.. I can include the Neotech Mega strap with the Spector as it maximises the phantom-bass effect!
  13. Hi, it's a relic job, although it's more convincing than a lot of Fender Custom Shop basses I've played! I assume it's alder due to the prominent grain patterns, but I'm not 100% sure I'm afraid.
