If this doesn't go through , I'll come and pick it up .
If ROBBIE deal falls through , then I'm local and I'll pick up whenever you want .
Not treading on ROBBIE's toes here , I know I'm 2nd in line . -
Bought an OC2 from Ryan . All smooth . Good communication , well packaged - top bloke .

Deleted - already a thread
You did there mate .
Seriously though , if this doesn't do it for you , or you ever want to move it on , PM me and I'll have it .

[sub]There was another on here for sale a while ago , and the guy wanted over 200 for it - never sold . [/sub]
[sub]Can't believe I missed out on this [/sub] -
I'm still going to buy it . I agee with most on here that the internet has diminished it's appeal , but I like a physical magazine - especially for the bog .
I hope the new publishing organisation works out ; and there's one big plus - no more Swans in Flight ads -
We've not gigged for a little over a month - we all had a bit of this (I think it's refered to as 'playing "out" ') .
Not the numbers we normally get - weather probably .
Tried a new pedal out (Prunes and Custard) , just need to get to grips with it how it sits in the band . Couldn't get a decent sound out of my other fuzzes , so need to spend a bit of time .
Actually getting a lie in tomorrow (today) , that is going to go past 9am (be a first) .
Guitarists as per usual , too loud , and faffing with there tuning all the time .
Bit of a non descript pants gig all in -
Bought a Prunes and Custard off of Al , and a great guy to deal with .
Good communication , and arrived well packaged .
Great guy . -

Picked up a mini Polytune yesterday and it's fantastic!! The size is amazing, the tracking is so much quicker than my previous DT10 and it looks as cool as you can get. At £65 i think its by far the best tuner out there at the moment for price.
I don't believe Peterson tuners are worth the hefty price tag, a mixture of a standard tuner and your ear are equally as good IMO.
Of course if you make a living setting up basses and need the maximum accuracy for intonation or record in the studio every day i'd go for the polytune.
Yep , love mine . Probably the best £65 I've ever spent - how sad am I ? -
Hi James , welcome aboard .
It was me who sent you the link to this , as I said earlier on in this thread , that I couldn't stand this behaviour .
On the face of it , it looked quite dodgy , and now reading all of this , I now feel somewhat bad writing what I did .
It has though , given you the chance to explain what happened , and it seems to be a communications issue , and that's all .
Sorry if I initially caused any ill feeling , but I feel , it's worked out well . As now you've joined the best Bass forum on the planet , and by trading any gear on here - either in or out - you're going to deal with gentlemen of the highest order (most of the time ) , and realise where your new home is .
No hard feelings mate , and welcome again x -
Sent a message . I can't abide this behaviour .
-
Look halfway down this page . It's not one of his main pedals , but could be a custom option .

I still quite like 'Testes, one two'. Twenty years of it and I still chuckle.
I can't believe I've never heard this one . I'm gonna use it next week . -
On my wavelength , mate .
When I finally get around to selling some gear and buying a headed Status Stealth , these are going to be the 3 colours that I'm going to debate on .
Don't know what Rob Green will think though , hehe . -

On a similair note (Job Interview) I was asked to Interview for "Forensic Alliance" a good few years back, as a Forensics Technician (Private company does a lot of the "CSI" stuff for the police). They dragged me down to Oxford for a days interview, all whent well till the end of the day, when they announced I was under qualified for the role. Did they not bother to read the CV before dragging me fifty miles and an unpaid days leave from work?
It beggars belief , that a company that specialises in the scrutiny of - data , DNA etc , can't even look at a 2 or 3 page CV . -
Drove from Norfolk for a weekend festival on the Isle of Wight , and left my amp at home .
Borrowed for the first day , but the second day , had to use an old HH MA100 PA head "they found out the back" - not a striking tone from that , hehe .
When I was a young'n , I forgot my strap , and did the gig sitting down . I wonder if Anthony Jackson saw me play and stole the idea for playing sitting down from me - though I'm less portly than him -

Just got my mini polytune. It's so cute! Don't care if it is a downgrade or lacks polyphonic functionailty, this is a tiny little must-have on anyones board. Also for me the clearest in-gig tuning display of any stompy pedal and fast response.
Did I mention how cute it is?
Used mine for the first time this Saturday , and I agree with all of the above . -

How about the 2012 Ampeg Heritage B-15? Think the UK RRP is £4995. That'll be about £166 per watt. Only 100 made worldwide and probably presold already. Btw, anyone needing a mint Hellborg preamp could do worse than email me and make a decentish offer...
What's the Hellborg like , in relation to the Eden . Thinking of maybe going modular again . How good is the Hellborg ? -
PM sent .
Paul -
They had "Don't give up" on Radio this morning , and I just love that bassline .
I can't really think of many basslines that are as integral to a tune (let alone a ballad) as that one . Double stops all the way - lovely -
Ricky - Iconic look , but does nothing for me .
Thunderbird - as above .
Hofner Beatle bass - tried one , and can't see the attration . (unless the look is desirable , ie tibute stuff)
Alembic Stanley Clarke - superb build , but doesn't even balance right - neck dive badly on the one I tried .
As mentioned , it's each to their own (as with cars and women etc . ) -
Mine arrived today . Yet to try it , but it's hard to believe how small it is until you have it in your hand - it looks great .
My first 'pedal' tuner
Interesting hoto of Chris Wolstenholme's pedals in album recording

Chequered on is a Home Brew , I think .
