Ha. I've got no way of doing that mate- I just have a laptop and a phone. No fancy stuff.

Finally getting my Japanese Sadowsky Modern fitted with the three pickups- sort of Dingwall-esq now I suppose.
Got the impression over on Talkbass that this was heresy, but there you go.
It’s moving the front pickup slightly forward a few mm’s to get the middle one in. So will give me pretty much the positions of a rear jazz, MM and P.
Geting a 5 way rotary strat type selector, rather than one of the Dingwall 5 ways- with don’t give the option of the middle on it’s own.
So will be - rear, rear+middle, middle, middle+front, front - ala strat.
Looking forward to getting it back, as really missed gigging it.

Been unable to log on properly or message as was temporarily stuck with an old Blackberry- hence the slightly blurred pictures on my original post.
I’m not much cop at pictures, but here’s some that are actually in focus.Been playing this today, and it’s lovely, and really resonant; but it was again confirmation, that I’m not a fan of the fan frets. It was only when I got my second Sadowsky modern (that I love), and started playing that, that it made sense. I’m going to regret selling it in a way though, but if I’m not gigging it, then it has to go.
Hit me up with trade offers.
Fancy a Sadowsky PJ5 or P5, with cash my way if needed.
Aggy DB751, Berg HD cabs etcOr just hit me up with something.
Thanks- 2

Picture won't open without downloading software/programme .
Are there any pictures that most of us can see?
Thanks

Virtually immaculate example- just a slight knock on the bottom edge of the body (probably a mark from the bag zips).
Bought new from Bass Direct, around 3 years ago I think, for 3K after the up charges that were on it. I think that these are maybe 4ish or more nowadays, as they shot up in price after I got it.
Case is pretty immaculate also.
Slightly scratchy pots- not that I've been bothered about this. These were scratchy when i bought it new.
Trades wise, I'm pretty much liking my Sadowsky Modern 5 at the moment, as it does everything really.
So a nice Sadowsky PJ5/Modern 5 is an option - cash either way for the right one. Please, no Jazzes.
I'm in Norfolk.
I won't ship/courier this at all, so it's pointless asking- as I have been on my other ad for my other Sadowsky. I will travel to meet up though.
Would also consider a deal with this bass plus my Sadowsky Modern 5 that's for sale on here, for the right bass; but I've lost shed loads of money on basses in the last 3/4 years, so a bit more picky now.
But hit me up with what you've got though.
Thanks - Paul

Do Sadowsky Japanese Moderns (the M5-24) have the VTC?
Both of mine have

Looking for people's verdicts on these cabs - if anyone's owned one .
It's the neo version 410 , with the two side firing drivers - making it a lightweight and compact 410 cab .
I've found a fair bit of information over on Talkbass , and the jury appears to be out on whether they're just full of middly honk , or more full sounding .
So was just wondering if anyone had gigged with one for any length of time .
Thanks - Paul

Since I’ve bought my Sadowsky Modern 5, my Dingwall Super P5, has pretty much been unused completely.
If I was to sell it, I know I’d regret it.
I’m sure I’ll gig it again at some point, but the Sadowsky is hitting the spot for the Function, Northern Soul and Ska gigs at that moment.- 1

I'll have this , if it's still for sale .

Ah. Will do. Thanks for that

Thanks for the reply.
Was mainly interested, in how well the interior foam holds out, with the regular removing of the basses- as a normal case/bag would be used. -
I don’t know the answer to your question; but let me know what your thoughts are on it when you get it and use it.
Will you be using it for regular gigging? -

IMO adding a non-Sadowsky pickup might work against the existing pickups and you'll end up with less rather than more.
Yes, that’s what I thought too.
I’ve read a fair bit up on the pickups, and seems that sticking Nordstrands in, is a common thing- maybe Fat Stacks.
Thus making a great bass, maybe better/different, depending on what you’re after.
That was something I’d looked into, and just had a crazy idea of adding a third into the mix, that’s all.
Contacted Nordstrand direct, to float the idea, with regard to whether the middle pickup would need to be a ‘neck or bridge’ one. They said bridge for the middle.
I was just throwing the question/idea out really.

For anyone who hasn't seen my Sadowsky thread. This is an update of my earlier post of the the pickups only on page one of here. My mate finished it Wednesday, and I played it tonight at rehearsal - will gig it tomorrow night.
So it's 3 Nordstand Fat Stacks, still the Sadowsky pre, and pan pot replaced with a five way rotary - ala Strat style (rear, rear+middle, middle, middle+front, front).
