1. I agree about the TC BG stuff - nowhere near enough high end. Odd. I can see the Hartke Bass Attack being the perfect tool to bring the zing!
2. Wait for the Max to arrive, open it carefully and then you could try it and use DSR to return if you don't think it stacks up well against the BAM?
3.
Did you indulge?
I did! Stone ME it's loud! Gives my GK head a run for it's money in terms of power. Lots of scope for EQ too - I'm very happy, and it's a bargain!
4. Nice! Now fit a black 'guard and you have my favourite colour combo on a P!
5. Superb description - I'm sold! http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=161532083331
6. The OLD Rumble 100 or 150 were great amps. The 'Shape' button was instant modern bass sound. Loved it. Haven't used the new but no reason to think they won't be good
7. A good 'Ray can cover ANY genre, no issues.
8. Neither are what I would call light weight though...or do I need to man up?
9. I was exactly where you were yesterday and then found this. http://www.pmtonline.co.uk/peavey-max-115-mkii-bass-combo.html £214 new? Gotta be worth a try!
10. Worth us knowing more about what happened here as a warning to others? Or was it all above board?
11. I've never liked the 12 bar much so wouldn't mourn it's loss, but i have to admit to feeling sad I might not be able to walk my boy down Denmark Street and have him soak in the history like happened with me and my Dad. That being said, some of those buildings are a health and safety risk, I am sure. Anyone remember the cellar at Andy's? *Shudder* Cheers, James
12. Hi all, I have a beautifully refinished (in Danish Oil) Les Paul Melody Maker. Hell of a guitar. I need a bass amp and will never ignore a tempting Fender Jazz so let me know what trades you might have? I'm in Herefordshire and here's a picceh:

Thanks mate! Oh and I forgot, it also has an upgraded wiring harness too with full size pots and solderless connections!
14. Hi folks, Well gigged with plenty of dents and dings but this is a player for sure. Stunning neck - really lovely. A tremendous hand-built Japanese guitar, sounds SUPERB and plays like buttah (naturally). Comes with the hard case. £325 collected from Ledbury in Herefordshire. Delivery possible at £25. More piccies available if you require Cheers, James
15. I'm not, but postage is possible? Here's some piccies:
16. Hi, I'll grab some pictures tonight if I get home in the light. Weight might be difficult as I don't have any scales but the weight with the original speaker is 27kg according to the Fender site. The addition of the neo speaker will have shaved a bit off that though, it's an easy lift for me and I've got bassplayer back ;-) Cheers!
17. Hi folks, I've always been a massive fan of the Fender Rumble amps - however a change from the standard 15" to an Eminence Basslite Neo has made a cracking amp simply phenomenal. The output is huge and the clarity is something else. I can't rate this setup enough, it sounds simply awesome and is very giggable thanks to the efficiency of the Basslite - the added clarity means less need to crank it too! Collection much preferred from Ledbury in Herefordshire or Brockworth in Gloucestershire. Don't miss out, this is basically being sold for a little more than the cost of the speaker alone! JUST £125 - bargain! Cheers, James
18. Hi folks, I bought this so long ago, I don't even remember buying it! This is the bad-boy: http://www.roland.com/products/en/UA-25EX/ Anyhoo - I recently dug it out, checked it works (it does) and recorded some stuff with it. I've finished now and am unlikely to do much more with it so am popping it up for sale in case anyone else could use it. Just the interface (in excellent condition) and USB cable - no box or drivers but it's all downloadable from teh interwebz. Let me know if interested! Cheers, James
19. Fab guitar, I'm always stunned at how good Cort guitars are. Solid top, built in EQ and tuner and fantastic action. Currently wearing a set of Elixirs with plenty of life in them. Collection from Herefordshire/Gloucestershire or postage at £20
