  1. It's a PJ-555 made in japan. Basswood body, maple neck, rosewood board. Jazz neck, P body. Volume, Volume and TBX control with 3 way switch. Dunlop strap locks, Seymour Duncan pickups. Beautiful Japanese build.
  2. Would accept £550 now but can't change advert. Can ship! Well, this is my pride and joy but needs must. It's an original 80s model, not the recent Duff Signature model - sought after all black neck Jazz Bass Special. Or the PJ-555. Made in Japan so great quality as expected. This has all new electronics, and has been updated to be the spec Duff uses today. Of note it has a Seymour Duncan SPB-1 and STK-J2B pickups, side mount, football jack socket and a cheeky pick holder on the headstock. Dunlop Strap locks. It has a new bridge and neckplate. I should have some original parts but they were heavily tarnished, as is common with this model. Would prefer testing and collection from Chichester, West Sussex but can ship if someone is willing to pay for shipping. I have an old case which I can do a deal on if someone would like it shipped in that. Can also do shipping in an old gigbag too.
  3. Hi its actually in great condition for its age. Very minor scratches, structurally sound and functioning perfectly. I always look after my gear.
  4. Legendary, industry standard rack tuner. Works fine and ready to rock. Add postage.
  5. Great, seriously we'll built and accurate pedal tuner. I've gone to rack units , so I longer needed. Add postage on top or collect from Chichester, West Sussex

  8. Whoops. Forgot this advert. What is the band and the gigging schedule like?
  9. Found myself without a gig, for the first time in a long time. Mainly influenced by Duff McKagan as well as Phil Lynott. Happiest playing Classic Rock from 70s, 80s but happy with most genres. I can't slap! Happy to commit to the right band, covers or tribute are preferable. Have pro gear, transport and flexible working. Check out Decades of Rock on YouTube for my last band. Chichester based but happy to travel a reasonable distance for right band.
  10. For new Foreigner tribute band. All the hits, and a guitarist, bass player and drummer who have all played at pro/semi-pro function/tribute/original acts. I want to know what love is, waiting for a girl like you, cold as ice, jukebox hero, head games, double vision etc. Based over West Sussex. But would hopefully be worth travelling for.
  11. Really like this.good luck with the sale. Found this pic of James playing it.
  12. Here's my BB1024x. Have played it at every gig since I got it.
  13. Sorry to bump this old thread, but did you sort out the hum issue? I had the same issue, and bought a Dunlop REGULATED power supply. Some other supplies aren't this spec and it does cause a background hiss/hum. I no longer have that with this power supply.
  14. Glad you found that Pike Vulcan video, that's one I did for the Pike guys. I bought 3 of their Vulcan XL's (two friends wanted one as well) and we're all happy with ours. Clarky72 of this here forum has one.
