I take it that the guard is a one-off and not a standard P shape? You could always buy a sheet of decent tort and cut it yourself.

Could go down the DIY route, however that's then £40 on the material (which is probably the most I'd spend on a plate), plus the likelihood that it wouldn't be very good haha.

Know any luthiers who'd be willing to cut one for you?
I know our local luthier Dave Dearnaley in Cardiff would cut one. I'm sure it would be a lot less than £100
