  1. I'm an aguilar user myself, though I have a much smaller set up (TH500, two GS112s). My setup sounds unreal with my precision, like Aguilar made these amps just for them (they didn't, but it sure feels that way). This will sound even better, and the price is unbelievably good, I think somebody should buy this, and not look back. I'd buy it, if I wasn't so supremely skint.

    SOLD

I've not long bought one of these (in sunburst). One of the best basses I've ever played, I literally can't put it down. Somebody needs to put down £570, and not look back. Good price, udo!
  3. I have two Aguilar GS112's, and i love the option of being able to just take one. One is loud enough and got enough punchiness for small venues, though two is much better. Either way, i dont think ill ever miss the years of dragging round a 410.
  4. I've got one of these, downgrading in size due to extreme laziness. The tone is absolutely brilliant, lovely full range of frequency, is plenty powerful and for £110, theres alot for your money. Cant really sell mine though unfortunately, its taken so much of a battering that it wouldnt be ethical any more. Good luck with the sale mate
  5. Think i may well be interested in both. Still for sale?
  6. Im after selling my whole rig in one go, its a brilliant amp, and has been powerful enough for every venue ive played, but now im after something a bit more portable, as i live in a third floor flat, and dont drive, and taking it out three times a week is becoming a ball ache. Im saying £700, and i can get it delivered to you (by way of a friend who can drive) if you live near weston super mare, or the bristol area in general. Two of the castor inserts are worn away, and there are a couple of very minor dings on the outside of the cab, but its all as good as new, apart from that. Ill throw in the speak on and kettle leads, the separate hard sleeve for the head, and a sack truck, if you want it. Cheers Aidan 07875147908
  7. You must earn your slap technique with many hours of crying, pain and frustration! I've found the neck pickup better for slapping, especially for when you have to slap the G string (lessons in love by Level 42, for example). It seems to take less effort to make the strong sound you need.
  8. Think i'm Gona have to get in on this- I'm Aidan, and i play in both james_guitar's afore mentioned bands. Greetings, all. I could be called a warwick fanboy- (Warwick Corvette Std 5, Profet 5.2 head and WCA 411 pro Cab, Yamaha RBX 370))
  9. That seems rather ideal. I may see if i can get to wales and take it off your hands... i cant say for certain, as i have made an order for another setup, but the payment hasnt been approved yet. Ill let you know in a day or two
  10. Hi there Im lookng for a new bass rig for small-ish venues, playing with a Police tribute band, among other things. I have a budget of 1000 quid, and have found a potential combination for the money- Warwick ProFet 5.2 500w 4ohm Warwick WCA 411 Pro 600-800w 4ohm I was wandering if anyone has had experience with either of these products? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
