1.
The D tuner mounting screw heads look big. Are they the same thread size? Would the original tuner still be able to be mounted with the original four screws?
OK I've had a look at this - what you see in the picture are not actually the screw heads, but just rather the shape of the tuner where the screws would be located on a normal tuner. The screws are actually underneath in the mounting plate, they are not the same type of screws as they are of the countersunk variety. Without taking the whole thing off I can't tell you whether the thread sizes are the same or not I'm afraid. M.
2.
Lovely bass. Do you have the original screws for the original tuner? The D tuner mounting screw heads look big. Are they the same thread size? Would the original tuner still be able to be mounted with the original four screws? Where in Suffolk are you based?
I can't remember exactly if I changed the screws or not - I'm not sure if the D-tuners come with separate screws, so I can't answer your question definitively. I'll check to see if I have any screws stored with the original tuner. As for location I'm down in Sudbury. M.
3. **SOLD** i guys, I have a new bass incoming and so I need to shift this to pay for it! Therefore sale only, no trades thanks.... So, I bought this from new back in 2011 for a soul/disco band I was in, and we played one gig. Ha. So it hasn't had much use at all, in fact I would say it's been played in anger less than a dozen times. It's in fantastic condition with a great grain pattern on the neck. There's only a couple of marks of note, one being a slight 'graze' on the top horn, and a very slight scuff mark on the back/top of the headstock. I've tried to highlight these in the pictures but they are very hard to capture. The bigger mark on the headstock picture is purely the flash from the camera. It comes with the Musicman hardcase, and also I've fitted a D-tuner on it, so the original tuner will be included as well. Cheers M.

Hi guys, Up for grabs is my American '57 reissue P-Bass. Currently has a Seymour Duncan SPB-1 installed as I couldn't get on with the staggered pole pieces of the original pickup but this will be included with the sale along with the tweed hard case. The guitar is in good nick but it does have some minor scratches on the bottom/top edges and a couple of dings/dent on the bottom edge (not my fault!). I've tried to highlight the dings in some photos - I had to use the flash to get them to show up and in all honesty the flash makes them look much worse than they actually are, but I feel it's best to be 'overly' honest than hide the defects. Small ding in the bottom left hand corner about an inch from the bottom edge and 1.5 - 2 inches up from the bottom case catch: Scatches/Ding on the bottom edge near the control knobs: Ding/Dent on the bottom edge of the lower horn: It's a great bass, very light weight and sounds awesome. Currently stringed with D'Addario Chromes. Don't really want to let it go but needs must as it isn't getting used really, so no trades thanks. Didn't realise how stupidly expensive these have become to buy new! I'm only looking to recoup what I spent on it, so looking for £850 delivered to mainland UK. Open to sensible offers. Cheers Moog
9. I'm interested in the neck if it is still available?
10. Great seller - super bloke to deal with!
11. Been playing my Amp One more recently (after putting it up for sale and promptly withdrawing it ) and I have to agree - these things are the poodles plums! Hugely versatile? Probably not, depsite the abundance of controls there's a limit to what a 10" speaker and no tweeter will put out. But what it does put out is 'kin superb - sweet, round, punchy and dare I say it - not too disimilar a response to a small valve amp.
12. Hi all, I've decided to sell my Blackstar HT-20 guitar amp and HT112 extension cab. I've come to the conclusion that my guitar is taking something away from my main instrument (being the bass) so I'm giving up and selling up to release some funds to the bass pot! The amp is in great nick, just under a year old and gigged twice with a handful of rehearsal use. There's a couple of very small scuffs on a couple of the corner protectors and some very small marks on the tolex, overall i would say 9/10. These things have a great drive channel and these 20 watters sound great because you can really crank them. They are easily loud enough to gig on their own with a drummer, the added cab just gives the bass a bit of a kick up! Looking for £350 for the pair, no trades thanks. They will also need collecting from Sudbury in Suffolk as whilst they are not horrendously heavy, they are are still a fair lump to move and I don't have the boxes to package and ship them out in. Blackstar footswitch included in sale. Cheers Moog
13. Decided to hold on to it, for now.......
14. Cheers for the bumpage guys - I'm starting to seriously question why I'm selling though!
15. What ho peeps, up for grabs is my lovely AER Amp One. Owned from new by me and not had a great deal of use for the last year and a half I've had it. Seriously loud for it's size, can cope with rehearsals no probs and I even done a rock gig with it and there was no problem keeping up with the drummer. Specs and stuff below (shamelessly stolen from the last Amp One thread.... ) http://www.aer-amps.info/images/stories/pd...lyer/ampone.pdf http://www.thebassgallery.com/product_deta...ass%20Amplifier EDIT 02/05/2013 - With a heavy heart I have decided to put this up for sale once more. It simply isn't getting used and I really could do with the cash. The amp is in great condition, the bag is in good condition although there is a slight tear on the pocket seam in the middle at the bottom (you might be able to catch it in the pics). I know I'm going to regret this...... Everyone raves about these, and I'm no different - this is simply the best sounding bass amp I've ever plugged into. And If I carry on I'm going to talk myself out selling it....again......... Looking for £650 + shipping, no trades thanks. Moog.
16. +1 to the above poster saying chromes are a bit brighter than most flats. Also Ernie Ball flats basically = Chromes as I believe D'Addario used to make EB strings and now EB have copied the formula! Could be wrong, but I like them!! Lots of different flavours out there - experiment!
17. Sold some lights to Adrian - solid fella! M.
