Do you still have this bass for sale, i keep coming back to look at it.
It is indeed. Just sent you a message.

Yeah - Will is pretty responsive on phone or WhatsApp. I’ve bought and sold a fair amount of basses with him.

I'd love a Dingwall but my £1000 budget says no.
4 string, 36.25 on the low string and open to offers. Possibly worth a thought! 😊

Ahhh that’s a fair one. The Ibanez fanned fret bass maybe? EHB I think?

I would think a normal 5 string would be fine. Though I can vouch for Dingwalls. Great basses.

My wife’s dads was entertaining (musically). Walking in was stuff like the bare necessities, born to run etc.
At the end, he insisted he wanted firestarter (he was being cremated), run like hell (to tell
everyone to bugger off) and schools out (again to say it was done).
He was a great guy. We Miss him.

Status graphite not making graphite basses!
I’m going to be cynical here and say the new basses are cheaper to make and thus more profitable.
I agree. Bolt on necks only too

Some of them look lovely. Weird about the graphite though.
FWIW if anyone wants a 4 string “classic” Chris wolstenholme with neck through and more graphite than you can shake a stick at… hit me up 😂 The dude who recently bought it on eBay doesn’t appear to be paying. Sigh.

Probably skimped on the SQL DTU but I expect the web dev company has made a suggestion on that, its Cloud based so scaling should be very easy. I'm popping down there tomorrow and will feedback as was OK for me during my unofficial UAT. I made a few suggestions regarding the filters but they are as I saw it a few weeks ago.
Agreed - it has actual context around each brand and isn't just a list of gear that doesn't give any insight as to where it's from, or what's good about it (e.g GuitarGuitar).
To be fair, I wonder if they’ll have as much traffic going forward. Maybe the excitement of the new site will subside and it’ll be fine. Not like it’s actually failing, it was just a bit laggy.

New site is better, though still quite slow. Maybe backend infrastructure needs upped.

Hi folks.
My band have recorded a new song and looking for recommendations on places that will listen/review etc? Also, potential avenues for radio.
our last single got played on R1 introducing rock which was nice. But just looking at other avenues!
We are hardcore/metal, or cyber metal as someone called us.

Reminder that I’m open to sensible offers and down in Gretna this weekend to make life easier to meet.

Damn, those must have been some good chips n cheese...
Enough that I defended myself with the plastic fork. Alas I was 16 and now I have realised that no chip and no cheese is worth dying for. Lest none that I’ve found yet.😂

I've seen one fight kick off in there in all the times I've played there. Was dealt with pretty swiftly. I've never felt unsafe in there. Things might be different if we sucked!
Always thought it was rougher than a badgers proverbial! Market street is the only place I’ve been threatened with a knife tbf.
All for my chips and cheese. 😂

I have no need for a 3D printer.. but I really want one!
tbh, I just want one to print a proper cup holder for my car!

Second night of a double header, this time at Wilson's in Aberdeen. What a great night. Our guest "guitarist" joined us for a few songs, it was busy and folk were right into it. Got some great comments after the show and the audience were enthusiastic but respectful - interacted with us without pawing at the singer this time! Maybe picked up a booking for a birthday party out of it too. One for the books. Played really well, loving the Sire D5 (why did it take me so long to investigate '51/'54 Precision shaped objects?), it's a keeper.
Wilson’s, im surprised no one attempted to glass you!

Dingwall are awesome for metal also. The Nolly sigs (NG2/3) are great. New strings, pick (supposedly!) and some distortion. Bring tha metulz!
-
I’m sort of surprised at this! Had a myriad of people message through various sources but the deal has yet to be agreed!
As I’ve said, open to sensible offers and I’m down in the borders next weekend (buying a bass from a dude in Manchestaaaa). So happy to meet there if it helps!
PS - If anyone wants to see how looks live… see here. Beautiful bass! -

Secursus for independent insurance. Much cheaper and seem to be sound.

If anyone is thinking “oh I fancy this, but don’t fancy a jaunt to Aberdeen.”
Potentially helpful news….I’m picking up a bass from Gretna on the 30th. Maybe a smidgen more accessible for those down South. 😊
