Such a cool idea but at £200 for my full board itd probably be better to invest in a decent pedal case. 🫠

They're incredible, they make my favourite pedals by far!

Borrowed a Longsword v4 from a guy at work to compare to the v2 and set up my board to test. Consensus is that they're all amazing. Really makes me appreciate just how great the dagger is, no matter how nasty it gets, never looses articulation. The Longsword v4 is super flexible thanks to the 3 clipping options and extra boost. Easily the best distortions I’ve ever tried, I always come back to EAE stuff.

You can do some really cool stuff with assigns to tweak parameters basses on input levels etc. Lets you do some really cool creative stuff which I missed on other units like the QC and Stomp.

Recording equipment to put stuff on Instagram

PS same works with my Scarlett 2i2, you could use one channel for bass and the other for the mono backing track perhaps? -

I recently realised I can use the boss Katana:Go connected via USB to my iphone to record my bass directly in the camera app. It wouldn't record the AUX in though so you'd still need to sync up to the backing track audio. It'd probably be less faffy than syncing video to audio though. -
Still very much enjoying the Handbox WB100. Had a while of not really having chance to use it so was up for sale but now find myself in 2 bands where its a perfect fit. Sounds incredible 👌 The only thing that topped it was a Marshall VBA400 but I ain't lugging around a 40kg amp 🤣 I’d love to try a Traynor but the EAE Bass Driver into the front of the Handbox gets me to a pretty comfortable TS50b-ish place from samples ive heard.

A cautionary tale regarding Royal Mail
MrDinsdale replied to MrDinsdale's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, it was. I cant contest it because I know it arrived however I do want to find out more information on why they're refusing to reimburse the loss. I'll try and get in touch when I can. The whole thing was very stressful, thankfully the person I sold it to was really understanding. -

I thought that at first but then the letter mentions the item not reach its destination. I'll follow it up and report back if I hear anything. -
A cautionary tale regarding Royal Mail

It didn't fly anywhere, I think they just have a depot there. -
A while back I sold an Origin Cali76 mk2 on here. All going smoothly, dropped off with Royal Mail and paid extra to make sure it was fully covered. Once it got to Gatwick the tracking stopped updating. Days went by with no word and there wasn't anything I could do until a full week had gone by. I logged a complaint and provided a screen shot of the PayPal payment details and the sale DMs in the hope itd constitute sufficient proof. Thankfully a mysterious package arrived at the buyers house with I “sufficient postage” so he had to spend another £7 to receive it. So he got the pedal, RM still had no idea that it had been received but I left it to see what happened. 3 months later I got a letter apologising for any inconvenience and these which it said we're the appropriate compensation: The pedal thankfully arrived so no loss, it does show how much that Royal Mail cover is actually worth in practice when selling on peer to peer marketplaces sites such as this. I'd have been out of pocket £250 along with £15 postage. Very unimpressed.

Definitely has some cool features, will be interesting to see what the new amp modelling sounds like. I find it funny how excited people are about the bass-centric Anagram despite the fact it ship with so little, the Stadium is clearly guitar focused but still ships with double the number of bass amps. The anagram amps dont even model saturation! The stuff about captures was all very ambiguous but the cloud training was cool. The search functionality was welcome, I’d love to have the option to toggle visibility of effects so you could hide all the stuff you're not interested in too. Some very cool stuff in there id never use like on-device stem splitting of uploaded mp3s so you can cut out the bass etc. Would be really handy for practicing. I'm very excited to see what the Stomp equivalent looks like in a few years. God its an ugly design though, inside and out.

This one sounds excellent! Keen to see what you think about the SLO 👌
-
I would love to grab one at some point, not really feeling any of the finishes just yet but look solid.
-
This is basically the answer to the original question, the amp isn't breaking up and any saturation is coming from the drives you're adding. This mirrors what others have said. It's ace that you're getting the tone you want though and it sounds like a lot of people are blown away by it too 🙌 I'll probably be looking to grab one at some point once they have a few more effects and hopefully a streamlined capture workflow. I'd like to know that the amp models are useable for the tones I want though, because 3-4 captures get used up fast (my current basic QC patch has 6-7) and I dont like DG drives as much as I’ve tried to.

PS I love the 1024x, its my new go-to bass for sure. Really loving the p/j configuration.
-
That would be great, I really want mine in a sea foam green. The burst finish is the only thing I dislike about my 1024x.
-
It would be cool to find out for certain, I didn't realise it was going to be so contentious 🤣
-
My initial question was regarding the Peggy model. I’ve heard conflicting statements regarding how it does/doesn't saturate. Someone suggested it was a capture and that was why it lacked gain I believe, I suggested that you'd still expect breakup if it was a capture. All I’m interested in is if the Peggy or GK models have the capacity to break up but seems impossible to get an answer 🤣
-
Yeah, I'd still expect even a little saturation though if it was a capture and I pushed it aggressively. The suggestion from Ivan was that it was impossible to get any distortion whatsoever, not even a hair of break up by pushing.
