  1. I used to have the perfect ten minirig, the sound was amazing but after about a year and a half the head stopped working. I sent it back to soundcontrol who couldn't fix it. I bought a new laney head and still have the cabs, the speakers are really good and can provide a full, bassy tone despite their size. I'd recommend the combo or if you can get your hands on a minirig definatly go for that!
  2. James Johnston was using a prototype of the squier as his main bass (drop-d) when i went to see biffy in august and it sounded just as huge as the fenders he was using for other tunings, i don't know whether that was the bass or the wall of ashdown gear it was going through though. But he was playing it for most of the show, a good sign i think!
  3. I've got a cort GB334. It's an older model but it's got a really clean sound, the active eq is really good for quick changes in sound!

    Pedal Buzz

Hi, i've got three pedals powered off one 9V supply and a daisy chain power adaptor, a clever little thing that plugs into the end of the supply and offers five 9V outputs, the only thing is that whenever i use it with more than one pedal a big electrical buzz occurs, even if all the pedal are set to clean. The bass can still be heard but not well over the buzzing. is this a problem with the daisy chain or should i buy a power supply for each pedal?
  6. Hey! I play an active cort g-series bass and when i play a low note (especially in drop-d tuning) a large fuzz comes through the amp, this happens when i play through other amps but not with other basses, and still occurs when i change the cable. I'm not sure if the problem is electrical or to do with the low action on the bass... Any ideas??
