1. My Hartke LH1000 went off in rehearsal today. It didn't feel hot anywhere. Its in a 2U rack so I coudn't check it properly till I got home. After taking the lid off I couldn't find an internal fuse anywhere. This is a bit odd as its usually in line on the power input. Anyway has anyone had a similar experience with these amps? I'll be taking it to amp repair man tomorrow but thought I'd pick your brains first. Wall plug fuse okay too. I had it hooked up to an 8ohm hydrive cab
 2.
Decided to move one of my Yamaha 405s' due to no longer requiring 5 strings. One of two I bought this one as a spare. ( might has well have an identical one I thought) It has spent most of the time in its case seeing as I never needed to use it. It is clear of dings and dents and has no buckle rash. Strings are as new Warwick red label 45 to 135. Great sounding passive basses that are in my opinion better than the TRB models ( I've had two of those) Comfortable to gig with, wide string spacing 18 mm centre to centre and awesome to look at. Included is a hard case and broad leather strap. £320 posted or possible trade for Mex Jazz Now on Ebay Pics...
3.
How odd, I had one I defretted and it was stolen in Liverpool in 1991. It was a nice sounding bass.
Odd indeed. Must be all that gold hardware making them susceptible.
 4. Nice lookin basses. I had one of these back in the 80's but it was stolen in Bradford.
 5. Anyone looking for an 810? Meet the Fender Pro 810. Purchased recently from these very pages from Nomis. Now I'll be honest this is a heavy cab! But it compensates by having a tremendous sound. Capable of 1000 watts and a peak 2000 watts this is a truly pro cab and if you have the strength and capability to move it it can be yours for the meagre sum of £275. Yeah it has a few cosmetic bumps and scrapes but that does not affect its operation and some might say adds to its character. So forget that Ampeg stuff that is unaffordable and give yourself a cheaper hernia with Fender. I've added some recessed side handles to help move it. Full spec here.
