4.
Traitor?! How so, just trying to stop the lefty bashing in advance When I first started bass, playing right handed felt wrong and left handed felt correct. Can't say why exactly, but then again I can't say why I feel my left hand is more dextrous than my right. I probably should have learnt right handed to gain access to a wider market, but then again I know for a fact that I've saved money because of the lower availability of left handed basses in the model I want. Something that I've often thought though, is would I be the same player if I learnt right handed? I'm not sure that I'd be able to do what I can now were I forced to use my hands the 'wrong way round' even with practice. Also, if we turned this around and the world was largely left handed and the market reflected that, would the right handers on this board have learned lefty? Would you have had the tenacity to keep playing in the early days if you had the added difficulty of everything you're playing feeling really strange to play? I think that's one of the major reasons, people who take up bass without being 100% enamoured with it initially (as I know I was like) would be way more likely to just say 'stuff it I'm watching TV instead' if it felt unnatural as well as difficult to do.
Not you Josh. That was meant to be an add on to your post
5. And another thing. Have a look here and see how many we are. Its time we had more choice. http://www.leftybass.com/

7. Here's my old B2 its lost a knob and there are some cosmetic dings including 2 small holes on top of the switches. These held a plate across both switches to make accessing the tuner function easier in a gig. Works perfectly and comes in the original box with manual

13. I remember drooling at this on Ebay but before I could beg the wife it disappeared before the end of the auction. Now you don't want it. Tut tut depriving fellow lefties on a whim. You should be ashamed of yourself and make amends by offering a lower sale price.

18. I've just removed the Seymour Duncans from my bass a quarter pounder SJB-3n Neck and SJB-1b Vintage Bridge. I liked the bridge it is more traditional but the Quarterpounder is very aggressive and I wasn't very keen on the sound. I've put in a set of MECs they seem more rounded. Might be able to do a deal for you
19. Please don't put us through that again
20. I like the look of that Bigjohn, how does it stand up in the band volume wise, you're not left handed are you. Could do with some fairy lights round it
21. Welcome another lefty. Lefties rule Yaaaah!
22. Take advice carefully. Why do they make guitar or bass amps?
23. hey Phil, you'll probably damage the guitar combo if you play too hard besides the frequency response is not suited to bass guitar. Look out for a dedicated bass combo plenty on ebay atm or if you play through a PC what about a simulator effect
24. We've got Reverb and Bandland down in Stockton. They don't have great stock but can usually get stuff. Also Steve James in the Boro and Middlesbrough music if you need a leotard.
25. had a look. No delivery!
