  1. So a few years ago I bought an Eminence Delta 12A, 400 w at 8 ohm, and made a box for it, as shown. Never used it, so thought I would now build a proper cab for it.

I have some 20 mm ply, and the size I need it to be. It's gonna be vented, and I've asked Eminence for their recommendations on this.

I am seeking suggestions for covering, and grille material.

  2. 1st is a Gretsh ( for sale )

2nd is a Hagstrom HB 8 - sounds lovely, easy to play, but heavy

3rd is my 1963 Framus Star Bass - 30 1/2" - played it for years as a teenager

4th is a Hagstrom HB 4 - not quite as heavy as it was

5th is a Steinberger - now 31" scale - cut 2 frets off the top

If you have the money and the back, go for Glockenklang. I have used their gear, and now I'm playing an AER BassCube, because it's quite light and ultra powerful for broken backs. B|

Not sure if I'm allowed to advertise, but my Glock 410 is in the for sale section

  5. I've got it and tried it, and it seams as though it will be ok. Obviously can't tell till next rehearsal.

It's so small I was worried about it flying around on the end of the lead, but luckily it is heavier than it looks.

  6. Just ordered one - should arrive tomorrow. I want something small to take to rehearsals. Will be using with a Purple Chilli 1 x 12 cab.

Cab is 8 ohm, so should get 130 w from the amp. Will this be loud enough ?

    I normally use a Reidmar 750 with 4 x 10 cab for gigs.
