  1. I'm the opposite - I find myself at a loose end, band-wise. I hope it will change soon but not having to fit basses into particular musical settings means I can keep hold of these basses I love that would normally have been sitting there redundant - from experience, an Aria SB has never quite worked for me in a band but I've recently picked up an old SB700 that I can enjoy on it's own merits. And it's a 1981 - YOB bass!
  2. Don't get rid, you'll regret it. Leave it for a bit, then come back to it in a while when you need 'that' sound. We rarely get the opportunity to get our old squeezes back.
  3. Not much in common apart from the colour...

  11. Natural Born Bugie - Humble Pie
  12. That's the mahogany grain, I think. It's the random logo placement that bothers me.
  13. The Kick Inside - Kate Bush
  14. I always thought that album had a pretty decent bass presence. Either way, it's one of the definitive metal albums of the past... well, ever, really.
  15. Leader of The Starry Skies - CARDIACS
  16. Blunt Force Trauma - Damageplan
  17. White Hammer - Van Der Graaf Generator
  18. I saw them play the White Album at the Palladium pre-Covid. Astonishingly brilliant. I'm seeing them again in October!
  19. I have a great respect for Scott. He knows his Thunderbirds. But bloody hell, that sounds hideous.
  20. Hooks In You - Marillion
  21. Yes - Manic St Preachers
