Itu, thank you. I think the shielded wire went from the jack to the volume pot, although I'm not sure what I do about the shield part. weirdly there were no other loose wires in there so not sure where the jack to ground has gone.

Hi there. I was wondering if anyone could help we with repairing my Warwick thumb bass as I have struggled to find a wiring diagram for it. On inspection I found that it looks like the bass has had repairs in the past. There was a loose wire that looks like it should go from the jack to the volume pot. This wire has a outer and inner part but I'm not sure how this connects up. Also I thought that there should be ground going from the jack but there does not seem to be. I have attached some images that hopefully explain this. any help would be very much appreciated

Hi all, My names mewis. I have being playing bass on and of for about 8 years. Unfortantly had a gap where I didn't get to play much but really getting back into it. Im from leeds but now living in london I play a Musicman Sterling, I also have a peavey millenium 5 string although it is in pieces at the moment as I am installing a new pre amp and I still have my trusty peavey milestone (my first bass) Gear whys I have just got sorted, I am Using A Ampreg SVT5- pro which I just bought of here from Paul in Brighton. and justr last night I got a ampeg Ampeg B-410HE 4 x 10 Bass Cab and a ashdown mag 115. which I bought of a great guy called Wayne of here aswell. I also have a Trace elliot commando combo which has served me well but I am planning on putting it on here soo as the house is getting covered in amps and the mrs isn't happy I mainly play ska punk as well as metal and rock but would love to start playing jazz and funk just dont know where to start Any Way thats my rant
