Have listened to it a few times now - it's similar in feel to Octavarium, i'm sure it'll grow on me .
-
I think every bass i've had has had a deadspot to some degree of severity. It's inevitable..
-
The Sandberg Basic I tried felt quite similar to a Stingray - certainly has the same specs.
I rate them highly.. -
I have some samples.. will upload later if I remember .
-
Flatwounds all the way - D'Addario Chromes are my personal recommendation.
-
Like this, right ?

They're available as H/HS/HH - you'd need to order one through a dealer. -
Sorry, only ped gets to see my tongue nowadays.

John Myung - Fantastic chops and very modest with it - compliments Dream Theater wonderfully.
Steve Harris - Does all it needs to make the songs sound great, dosn't go over the top.
Marcus Miller - Amazing groover and all around down-to-earth chap, saw him live and he blew me away.
Trip Wamsley - Completely under-rated solo bassist who would put a few famous names to shame, worth checking out.
Jason Newstead - Made me want to play bass, just enjoys(ed) what he did and wasn't fussed about being flashy. -
This pic looks a bit better than the vid.

You could hear it !?!?
-
Hah - it was the encore song and I'd got quite bored of it by that point.. 7 mins.. pffft
-
Only ordered from them once - they are never in a rush..
The orders go to napper in Manchester - he then gets the store in London to package them up and send them off. -
Nice gear line up - get some pics up in Bass Porn .

A natural finish on the Bongo does help a bit in masking it's shape, I like.

It was a Yamaha RBX775 actually !
Defretting is indeed a piece of cake, making it a tidy affair however - is the hard bit. If you want it to look super neat and professional - i'd get a professional to do it.
If you just want something to knock about and try out fretless - save the cash and do it yourself. -
7 for me .
-
There's one here too - http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=111
Do you agree with the sentiment ? These things are lovely looking.. -
£15 - i'd imagine since it's in a bigger place the number of tickets won't be a problem.
-
Super Gary - when do we get a line up ? .
-
Pressing Ctrl+F5 will refresh from the server - that will solve your problem. It is a local browser issue not the forum .

Snare traps ?

I think no musician is ever really content with themselves. I find i'm always raising the bar on what I should be able to and what I aspire to play. 4 years ago I wouldn't have dreamt of playing some of the stuff we do due to it being beyond my ability at the time - now it just seems the norm.
If I suddenly thought I was 'good enough' to not want to improve i'd probably sell all my gear and start playing golf. -
Due to the impending date - consider this stickied.

It appears to be mods only - certainly something to change. I'll set it visible.
