Tough call. Personally i'd say it down to each buyer to review the instrument for faults as best they can before buying.. although not always possible on things like this.
If I were the 2nd owner i'd wouldn't be expecting anything from you. -
I started with a pick, then a bit of both - now I never use a plectrum. When I try it it just doesn't feel right and sounds too thin for me.
-
I don't usually like Rics but that black/chrome affair has me all giddy.
-
I don't think they're any substitute for any of the models it tries to emulate. However if you're a recording artist and need lots of tones in one piece of wood (and silicon chips) then it's unbeatable.
Bugger should never have sold this, I was well short of cash and things conspired, used it again a couple of times, she was well beat, but thats how I like em.

That is beautiful - i'd kick myself too . -
Higher Ground funks it up for me - can't resist it.
-
I stack my MAG210 vertically and have the shallower EB12 combo on top. I couldn't have it the other way round as i'd experience the same problem as bobpalt.
-
I found my Stingray a bit difficult to adapt to at first having no neck pickup, all ok now I'm used to it.
-
I defretted my Yamaha RBX775 as it was being underused. Sounds great - just wish I could do it justice.
-
Argh ! Don't trust anyone but yourself with your gear - it isn't worth the hassle.
-
Just got it - he played Higher Ground live at the clinic last year - I'm so glad it's on the album.
Has a few tracks I don't think i'll listen to twice, but most are utterly fantastic. -
Yep I agree with the above on PMT. Dave Sheriff is very knowledgeable and always happy to help you no matter what your budget.

Shame on you machines!
I figured someone would have put it up already but didn't expect it to be in Off-Topic .
Oh wait... I moderate that forum and should have spotted it.... -
Quite possibly one of the greatest bass moments, ever. -
I find 4's the least 'effort' to slap on. Have had a 5/6 string too - could be done but found I had to concentrate alot more.
of the liveearth thing that i did watch i noticed that one of the P basses that the bassist in fall out boy had was a Squire, very strange to see a budget bass on the big stage.
Pete Wentz has a Squier signature Precision - that's why he was using it.

Yeah it works well and looks snazzy.
Although I would like to complain about the fingerprint/marks on the left of the pictured Jazz -
Super video - makes it look so effortless.
Congratulations on the endorsement . -
Hmm Haywards Heath To Manchester..err no.
Unfortunately bass shows aren't very common - you can't expect them to be on your doorstep, if you do I doubt you'll ever get to one. -
This week:
Marcus Miller Jazz (a reoccuring GAS item since I started playing bass)
Ibanez BTB555
Ashdown ABM500
Ashdown MAG115 -
Looks a bit tatty ! I'd want a discount for all those scratches.

I find BGM to be a fantastic read, albeit a little short. This is probably more quality over quantity however - which cannot be criticised.
The reviews I find do tend to air towards higher end gear - then again I don't get every issue and might be missing the budget reviews.
The interviews are superb - some top names have been in there and have always been a great insight.
A new addition to the family...

I'd probably keep the flats on it for that Beatles vibe.. oddly enough as I clicked on this thread I was listening to Here Comes the Sun.
