I played a Sandberg six string ( can't remember the model sorry!) in PMT in Birmingham and it was wonderful. Really easy to play and a good range of sounds. In fact I would say it was comparable to the Shuker I've tried but about a third less price wise.
Cheers,
Alun
Probably a Bullet Special 6 - looked like this pretty much ? (I've played it too).
-
Never seen the Sting Precision modded like that - looks absolutely amazing. That Streamer would get it too.
-
Well it's very unique !
Do you ever play it in public ?! -
They do seem to be amazing value - I may grab one myself.
-
They are a relatively unknown bass. The quality I consider very high, on par with EBMM stuff pretty much. They do some very interesting twists on traditional Fenders (the California series) and some nice variations of Stingray-esque basses (Basic series).
I wouldn't say no to a Basic KT or California 5 PM. -
My practise studio has TNT115's . They weigh an absolute ton but aren't terrible. Reliable comes to mind - but certainly not in the range of 'great' gear.
-
I've played one - I was very impressed by it. It's certainly a cut above the MIM, but I didn't compare it to an MIA.
For the price i'd say it's worth it. -
I love the old metallica stuff but I just don't have the time, patience or skill to do master of puppets or battery. Yes Yes I know someone out there is saying "what, you suck, they're easy" but yeah..
My band cover MoP. I find the most part of it fairly straight forward, but there are a few parts I just can't nail, but no-one can hear me anyway.
I find Dream Theater stuff to be almost impossible to play through a whole song.. there's always some part that will totally own me. -
You doubt you'll get £795 but have put it up for that anyway ?
-
And here it is again...

Small world isnt it ? I didn't know inflation was so high in a week either ! -
I've been in a band about a year and played about 7 gigs. I like them but do get fedup if there's too many. We'll be staying in the studio for the rest of the year recording most likely.

I don't think it being a good price is the issue.
Everyone is skint.
-
It's pretty depressing stuff. I'm thinking of sticking something on there but it seems to be a waste of time..
-
Clear perspex would look snazzy.
-
I'm not a fan of the SR5's pickguard but like you say - that looks tasty.
Has it arrived ? -
Some great stuff there - have you tried them out ?
-
Have you impaled you guitarists yet ?
-
Hmm i'd go Warwick i'm afraid. Whilst the Spectors are very good - I think the German made Corvette has the upper hand on material.
-
Agreed - mine keeps its pickguard on at all times, it's only polite.
-
Hmm I remember that too, can't find it at all.
-
Argh - it looks like my Jazz and makes me angry
. Does look a very amateur and poorly thought operation...
-
I already did an IP search and there were no other matches
.
-
Ah yes - sounds like I expected. Very very nice..

There may be trouble ahead... I wonder which basschatter she is referring to...
Yeah, could well be - was a lighter wood body IIRC. Was a while back, whenever the Marcus Miller clinic was.
Cheers,

I must have missed you then ! I saw Gary there..
