Unbelievable.
Yup, market is very slow for stingrays at the min, unless they're uber cheap, but I'm buggered if I'm going to give it away. lol

Bump. Would consider trades for Fender 75 reissue jazz bass, or US Precision 5 string.
  7. John Glascock, best there in terms of pick is in my opinion.
  8.
Thanks Ben, yes a genuine Fender tort guard at that (and added tug-bar for vintagey looks). Shame I`m having to sell this as it really does what I wanted, but funds are needed elsewhere unfortunately.
I know the situation well, been there myself.
  9. NIce, looks even better with the tort guard on than it did the black one!
  10.
Cool! Another trans red like mine!
NIfty, the colour was what caught my eye initially, it was black originally, but for whatever reason it had been done in a satin trans red when I got it, looking at getting it gloss clear coated at some point.

  12. .73 or .88 dunlop nylon, only picks ive been able to get on with.
  13. I think people take to a certain instrument, or instruments, where it just seems to come naturally, the bass did for me, id messed with keyboards, never got on. I started playing the double bass at school(never formally or taught mind), then I got hold of their Westone thunder, and that was it I was hooked, my parents were adamant that i should play the guitar as the bass was somehow restricive(never did work that idea out!), which I tried, and it just didn't flow, the guitar just felt awkward and fiddly. So convinced dad to buy me a £50 Marlin bass, and that was it.
  14. I'd love these, would mean selling my wal though.. hmm. Have a free bump either way.
