    Next one. This was a model that was available at that time in limited numbers. It has a really brilliant (fire engine/blood red) finish with black scratchplate and hardware. The red sets off the black hardware really well. It comes with original case, original pickup cover (not fitted in photos) and the original black bridge It has a hipshot retrofit brdige for added sustain and no bridge lift! ) The bass has never been damaged or modified in any way. The hipshot bridge is a direct replacement for the original so no holes were added to fit it so it can be swapped on or off. The best part of this bass is the neck. Its almost completely flat yet there is no fret buzz anywhere.     I think the problem is that there is a GL above you that's mint @549 so you may struggle unless you reduce your price.

    Hi John, I'm sorry I missed that question. The board is glued on rather than one piece, frets are I'm pretty sure, medium jumbo not sure about the radius, sorry I don't know how to tell. HTH, Tom.

    You need to assert your authority in the marriage. There is no way you can lose face with other musicians, ALL of whome have at least 4 basses! (I have 14) If they see you playing the same bass over and over again they will know you are a downtrodden,foot on the neck typical man and this will not do. Does she not realise that the VMJ overheats quite badly and is regarded as a fire risk by some venues so it is essential to have a backup bass for this eventuality. This way you won't miss a gig and your wife will get a share of the takings for the gig. Alternatively just buy one and stuff the consequences, we have a spare room

    If I could get past how they look I'd try one. They're ugly basses to me, the bottom horn looks like a growth, really put off by that. wouldn't do if we all liked the same thing.
