I have two USA-made G&L L2000s and a Reverend Thundergun...among the best basses made, but there's just something special about my Italia Imola.

Luckily we have Epiphone.

Just bought this, but it had absolutely nothing to do with the signature.

Wouldn't be caught dead in Calvin Klein jeans or Yeezy sneakers, etc.

Never really considered one of these in my eight years of playing, though I've owned a number of Epiphone Thunderbirds.

Took one for a spin last week and discovered I've been missing something special.

(Hipshot Supertone 3-point bridge and Magma black tapewounds.)

Eleven basses, three are twins, two are close.

This question comes up so often, and the debate never gets resolved. 

The sad thing is, it's often best to think outside the box, and I'm not talking about Musicman, G&L, Ibanez, etc.

Reverend Thundergun, still the best-kept secret in the bass world.

Not to mention they still refuse to properly shield them.

They know it's an issue but they just don't care.

$2,000 G&L for $1,350.

Both mint...another way of saying better than new.

Just two of the nine basses I bought from Reverb...every single one better than most of the stuff I see at Sweetwater, AMS, Zzounds, Guitar Center, Sam Ash, etc.

Other than that, I see great deals all the time...can't even begin to count them.

(Just did an extensive search...no one else has either bass for sale, not even for the inflated prices so many sellers are demanding these days.)

Just remembered...Sterling makes some very nice short-scale basses.

More young girls seem to play the Ibanez Mikro than any other bass

No need to fret.

And just in case the 18-Volt active preamp isn't enough for blasting off to deep space...

One reason, with Affirm, I can get a bass that price for $45 a month.

Another reason, i have eleven basses, four with jazz pickups,  and don't really need another one that badly.

Final reason, I tried to buy it using PayPal today but it keeps punting my preferred method of payment...which it's never done before, so I'm working on it.

Squier, once more showing Fender it isn't all about black, white, 2-color sunburst, 3-color sunburst and 27 other various bursts.

Other than that, I'm well aware that different lighting can change what a color looks like, but the Squier Capri Orange definitely looks better than the Fender finish...richer, bolder.

 Big difference between PayPal and Affirm...really big.
