1. Any audio samples on this one? Would you be willing to ship it off to Germany?
2. Interested in the B7K if you can post it to Vienna austria and the postage doesn't cost a fortune.
3. Very interested, what would be the shipping cost to 1100 Wien (Vienna)? I'm guessing not too much as its just a few hours away.
4. Any chance you can see what it would cost to ship to Vienna, Austria?
5.
These heads are wick! Good luck with the sale Truckstop
Indeed they are, I have no idea why noone has any interest whatsoever. Its been up for sale on another Irish website for the past 3 or so months. I'm trying to sell it before I head to Vienna.
6. Amp is in Tralee, Co.Kerry Ireland. Trades welcome. If your looking for a serious bass amp for gigging, then look no further, and with these two cabs youl be putting out 500 watts of pure unadulterated bass goodness. Altogether these would go new for about €1854 not including shipping. I should also mention that both the cabs are earlier models which have a reputation of being somewhat superior to that of the newer cabs that ashdown have released. The head is also one of the first run made in the UK factory(number 507 to be precise). It is NOT a Chinese head. Id prefer to sell these together but will split if there is an interest in all 3. If i'm splitting €750 for the head and €150 for each of the cabs, but I would want an offer on all 3 from various people. Will consider trades of nice guitars(electric and acoustic) and basses. I know that the majority of folks here are from the U.K. but I said id chance my arm anyway. This is one hell of an amp for the £833 sterling price tag(by today's exchange rate)
7. First up my Musicman Stingray 5(€1200): Lovely musicman in good condition, a small ding by the saddle which of course doesn't affect the amazing tone one bit. Action is lovely and fast on this and the low b is nice and tight. Comes with a solid harshell case, which is where its been since this time last year. This bass is like my child and I wouldn't sell it but unfortunately with a bad wrist my gigging bass days are over and I want to see it going to a good home. Although it looks a bit blue in the pictures its actually teal green. I tried a lot of snaps but none of them would do the bass justice. Next up is my Musicman Sterling 4(€1200): The Musicman Sterling is often cited as being the Stingrays younger edgier brother. With its 3 band e.q. it covers all the bases and gives you plenty of tonal options weather live or in the studio. This one has been my go to bass for the last 4 or so years and has never let me down once. Il be sad to see it go but due to a prevailing wrist injury my bass gigging days are over and I want my gear to go to a good home. The Colour is Desert gold which is a pretty rare finish. The bass also comes with a musicman molded hardshell case. And finally on the long shot that anyone out there is in Ireland my Ashdown Klystron with ABM 1x15 and ABM 4x10 (€1400) If your looking for a serious bass amp for gigging, then look no further, and with these two cabs youl be putting out 500 watts of pure unadulterated bass goodness. Altogether these would go new for about 1854 not including shipping. I should also mention that both the cabs are earlier models which have a reputation of being somewhat superior to that of the newer cabs that ashdown have released. 8.
No interest in this lovely recording interface at all?
Sold.
9. Thanks for all the replies guys, First of il try the miah lynch guy and if that doesnt work out i think il go with parceltogo.com. Again, thanks for all the advice. Im saved from insanity!
10. Didnt know where to post this but I said in the general might be a good place to start. If a mod feels like it should be moved feel free to do so. Anyway I recently moved from Cork, Ireland to Aachen, Germany. At the time when I was flying over I couldnt afford to bring any of my basses or guitars over with me(It was terrible, like leaving children behind ). So in the mean time ive managed to procure a bass over here(she aint great by a long shot, but its playable) and I called my folks back home asking them could they ship over my guitar to me. Ive shipped out a few heavy basses/guitars in the past that were about 15 or more KG with hardshell cases and it has never come to anything over 60 euro. For my telecaster and hardshell case(I think it was 8kg overall) I was quoted 170 euro by dpd and 120 by ups. Whats up with the sudden hike of prices? Is there any other companies that haven't hiked there prices up? Im going to give a call around tomorrow butI just thought it was so strange for the price to more than double . Anyone had any similar experiences or if ye can offer any advice that would be great! I need to get a guitar over here before my head explodes!!(been without one for 2 months now!)
11. Downsizing my recording setup as im moving off to Germany soon and dont have a lot of room in the case for most of my recording stuff. These mics are in PERFECT condition, no scrapes, scratches or knocks in there life time and they have always been kept in a smoke free room. They come fully boxed with everything(audix literature, stickers and mic wallets). There basicly like new mics. These mics are fantastic and in my opinion much better than there Shure counterparts. The i5 is great especially on the top of a snare and guitar cabinets. The D6 excels at bass drums or bass cabs. The i5 usually sells for €115 so il sell mine for €80. The D6 retails for €209 so il sell mine for €150. Alternatively il take €200 for both of them. Living in Cork Ireland but il post anywhere at buyers expense. some pics here: http://s184.photobucket.com/albums/x...t2320/?start=0 Now sold...
12. Moving off to Germany in a while so im downsizing my recording setup at the moment and selling my Toneport. For those of you who dont know this is a great little recording interface with eight XLR inputs with, -20 dB pads and phantom power on each channel, eight 1/4-inch line-level inputs, eight 1/4-inch balanced line outputs, stereo RCA S/PDIF input and output, as well as two 1/4-inch instrument inputs on the front of the device. The toneport also includes pod farm which is essentially a software version of the line 6 pod which is extremely handy in a recording situation. The UX8 comes boxed with the platinum edition of this program which includes all model packs(Metal shop, Fx junkie, Power Pack, Bass Expansion and Classics). To buy these separately for any other toneport would cost $300 alone! Its in pristine condition and has been only used in a smoke free environment. Its also fully boxed with everything that came with it. Also should mention, id be interested in a part exchange plus cash if anyone has a portable 1 or 2 input interface such as a toneport ux1 or M box or somthing like that. Although its gotta be bus powered and have phantom! As this is going for €459 on thomann an €479 on musicstore I think that €350 is a good deal. Im currently living in Cork City, Ireland but il post anywhere at the buyers expense.
