I had a 5-string version of this bass and stupidly sold it. Big regret but I now have a 5-string Euro so all is not lost. I have to say though, build quality is similar and the sound out of these is superb.

That's a shame Paul, I'm absolutely loving the Foundation that I got from you. Fantastic bass and an excellent neck, one of the best I've played on a 5-string.

Great monitors ! I used the a7x for few years and were amazing . Switch to the eve sc207 but still have the a7x .
Same here, I've got a pair of A7Xs and they're superb. -
For sale is my monster Ashdown RM-610T 6X10 Cab. 900 watt beast that needs no introduction. These are quite rare but sound amazing and I've gigged with this on several occasions. Sadly, the venues I play just don't warrant such an amp so I've decided to part ways with it. There's the odd scuff on the cab which I've tried to photograph but it also comes with a quality padded cover. Bought this off a fellow basschatter for the same price and these are currently going for £899 so this is an absolute steal, especailly with the Hotcovers padded cover which goes for £85 alone.
Offical Ashdown spec:
Hotcovers SpecCollection only from Maidstone, Kent.

“wood needs repair on back*
I don't know which particular concoction of spice/crack/LSD/mogadon this helmet is smoking but it sure must be good.

I remember an old keyboard player mate who was around in the sixties and I remember him telling me of PA speakers with concrete bases in them for what reason I do not know. This post has just reminded me of that.

I do like that bridge...
From what I remember the tuning stability of these basses was superb. It really was a great design for a bass.

I saw this a while back and it really reminded me of a Riverhead bass with the paint removed. Obviously it isn't but I can't help thinking he's copied the build from Riverhead by Headway:

Are these fretless?

Hi. Is this a standard Fender spacing? Would it fit a Squire CV Jaguar bass?
I've got a CV PJ bass and it fitted perfectly if that's any help.

The band I sometimes dep for, their full time bassist has one of these, identical colour the lot and it's probably the best Fender Precision I've ever played. Everything about it is just perfect and it's a real shame Fender didn't continue to produce these as they're probably the best Precision they've EVER produced.

Vintage make some decent basses, I wouldn't knock 'em.

I remember speaking to Chris Larkin back in I think 1987 or 88 at the British Music Fair and he was a real nice bloke. I remember being blown away playing a Reactor bass, it was light years ahead of anything I'd played before. The price tag was astronomical compared to other basses so I sadly never got to own one. If they're as good as I remember then someone is going to love this bass.
Sadly Chris died in 2018 so these aren't being made any more.

If this bass stays under £80 this'll be a bargain. I have one and it's great ...

Is this not the NG3 rather than the Combustion? Does it have the Darkglass pre-amp or EMG?

What would you be looking at in the way of trades? Basses or amps ?

I'm not really a fan of Warwicks but this looks lovely.

I love these Series 6 Trace Elliot amps.
This is an absolute steal and I'm surprised that this is still here.
