  1. I'd go Med/Fine Sanding Sponge... Fine Sanding Sponge... I've also used Halfords Bodywork Sponges.

Steady Eddie otherwise you get a 'Scallop' as well as a 'Rolled' edge...

But a bit of the both looks kinda nice.

Then on to the nail blocks... got a load from Aliexpress... great for a fretboard and fret clean.

Also used to knock-off a sticky glossy neck, and great with wax on a wood body.

  2. Kent Armstong Vintage Alnico V 5's at £67 a pop... I'd drop em a line see if they have any B stock or discount... Try 'em £100 the pair... Ha! - or Wilkinson Alnico V at half the price.

Why not adsemble a replacement bell plate with VBT loom and a Pure Tone Jack?

Looking at the Basses, You clearly Know ya Onions... More Pics Please!

(There is a Build Diary thread if you have any old pics of when you put em together)

  4. Luverly take on a Compensated Bridge Saddle Blade...

Shorter Screws for Intonation and Height... I'd hack saw 5mm or so off, or replacements from somewhere like Spaldings Fasteners on the 'bay - I use em for A2 Stainless Grub Screws for bridge saddles.

  5. @TheGreek thanks for responding...

The packing foam sponge from a pair of Jazz Pickups... I can cut into 2 to make a foam sponge surround for each pickup in the existing Soap Bar Cavity of my SR400/DiMarzio.

Protect the wires and keep the dust and crud out. Just an easy finishing touch.

    Thanks for looking...

  6. Zoom B1on and B1xon ya say? Might of over-done it!

Maybe work out a Split from the B1xon Out to the 2 B1on units In for Parallel...

But, still not got to the bottom of this...

On/Off Switch - Button functions on a finger press, but the foam doesn't seem to want to compress with a push with the pedal - Note: I am Mechanically Sympathetic so ain't gonna be stamping on it..

Switch turns On/Off the Effect to which the Expression Pedal has been assigned to one of it's paramaters...

Rather than turn On/Off the Expression Pedal's Variability, say back to a default setting... Shame.
