  1. Don't need another SR... I'd get proper told off... .. i haven't got a 500... couple of 300, a 400 and a 600... It's too far!

The Mahogany body perfect for a rub down and tru-oil-ing, Neck looks like the 600 with the extension and Bubinga Jotoba and Rosewood fretboard.

I don't even know what that means.

But why not quote my whole sentence? or are you calling me a liar?

I think it was @Bassfinger having a sneaky quip following recent posts on neck shimming ala little bit of something at the back of the pocket v's full pocket wedge shim and the possibility and associated causes of the 'ol Ski Jump neck etc... I don't belive twas a slight to you.

For info my Ibby GSR200 does the same...

  4. On what shape, and how dark, and uniform is the Mog to start with?

I'm a 'light as possible' balance on getting what the wood has got v's darker as the wood is dark, and darker still to hide the miss match and blemishes...

Plus the post is an excuse to raise my praise to @Andyjr1515 again for this bit of Mog Work...

  5. Hate is a strong word... but, I really don't get the Spector's or Warwick's...

Sometimes its not the body shape, but the adornments... not a big arsed P Music Man fan, and that Control Plate and Scratch plate combination... no ta. Why i prefer rear route bodys

Rick 4001/4 is such a looker... likes a conventional P shape... but it's the Ibby SR for me.
