Ah, but then, can it ever be wrong?

Careful. Someone will accuse you of being guitaristist.
Though, if you disagree with guitarism, you could always become a guitarististist

Ther are plenty of songs about murder and revenge, even before you go into folk songs:
I shot the sherrif
Bad like Jesse James
Hey joe,
Folsom Prison Blues.
Delilah
etc etc etc.
I don't think any of those are actually glorifying or condoning murder. They are simply telling a story.
IMHO making a big fuss about some song lyrics just detracts from the real issues in the world.

Not a song I have ever played in a band, but I always feel uncomfortable when I hear it:
I would rather, I would rather go blind
Then to see you walk away from meHow must blind people feel when they hear these lyrics?
Come on. It's just a woman or man expressing how upset he is at losing their lover, just an expression. I'm I afraid this is an example where the blind person just needs to 'get over it'.

What sort of stupid band name is 'the lovely eggs' anyway. Did they come up with that over breakfast?
Could be worse, e.g "the peas are nice tonight".

An Octobass is a musical instrument like a large double bass. I am sure that is allowed. 😊
I did know that. It was your idea to use it as dinghy that made me veto it. You can have it then, but only if you promise not to use it as a boat!

Obviously an Octobass. Once I have learnt to play it, it should make a very nice dinghy in which to sail home. 😀
Sorry, but the luxery item is not allowed to be of any practical use.

So does this mean that Marshall now have no bass amp/cab offering at all? Nothing seems to be listed in their "Amps" page.
So glad I've got my DBS400, even if I don't use it often.

It would be interesting to learn about how the peak power was measured and how long the peak was defined as... or if it was purely a theoretical number based on unloaded power rail voltages into a theoretical 2 ohm load.
Interestingly, this amp does not have ANY protective limiting present in the power amp, so a short circuit would prove devastating to the output stage and possibly the class H commutator switches.
It would, but I have no idea. Just quoting the specs which, being old scool Marshall, are probably true-ish.
Thanks for the heads up on the output stages - I'll be extra careful not to short them. To be honest I've not used it for ages due to the weight!

What we don't need is folks sharing their harmful marinade recipes 😀
OK, I'm over that now.
What about using Lemon oil to marinate your meat?
EDITED TO SAY: That was not intended as a euphemism !!
EDITED AGAIN: (or was it?)

The DBS7400? I had one of those, great amp, paired it with a Marshall VBC412 cab, was a set up capable of blowing those doors off that Michael Caine spoke about.
I have one: 400 Watt continous, 4000 Watt peak! (into 2 Ohm)

I note the the photos seem carefully framed to not show any bend in the neck!
