It seems like I am always the one arranging everything, sorting out personnel, rehearsals etc... and everyone else lets me. The guitarist I have worked with over the years has just pulled the plug on the latest project and effectively killed it! I don't think I have the energy to set something else up. if something comes along where I can just turn up and do the job I will consider it. It's not easy being the bass player you know.....

For the first time in many years I don't have a band! boo hoo Where to start looking again, is it worth the heartache? decisions, decisions... Or do I flog eveything and buy a nice Vmax?

I have just acquired through ebay a Tanglewood Bassmaster funk bass that has had a tough life, but is all there, picked it up for 45 notes, so hopefully after much fettling this should be a nice bass. So, last night, stripped it all apart, sanded the paint of the face of the body to reveal a nice natural finish, but it is marked so might look to paint it once it has been brought back from its multi-layered hell. Can't find much about these but what I have found is very positive, it is a nice weight and has a nice feel even in its current state, so I am hopeful this won't be a waster of effort. What do you guys know about these?
