  19. so, hot on the heels on the other thread around Tbirds, I was just about to ask a similar question... Does anyone know if it is possible to put a Hipshot drop tuner / extender onto the HB 75MN Jazz neck that I have on my seriously modded HB PB 20 bass, and if so which one? I emailed Thomann and they wouldn't commit! Based on this Harley Benton Parts JBass Tuners Set Chrome – Thomann (Shaft Ø: 13.9mm Impact sleeve / bushing for the head plate requires bore Ø 18.3 mm) I think that it might be these Hipshot H20800C BT8 D-Tuner CR – (Axle diameter: 13.86 mm) or Hipshot H 21200 C BT 12 D Tuner CR – (Axle diameter: 13.86 mm) or even (prob not) a BT-7D but would appreciate any advice please if possible Many thanks for your collective wisdom / experience, and yes I know that the tuner is worth so much relative to the bass but it also has SD pickups and a new bridge too, so may as well go for it 🙂
